For me this is one of the most powerful scenes and one of the saddest of course, I truly felt the pain and the state of hopelessness that they were going through after losing Sun, Jin and Sayid. I am crying again right now, this is ridiculous.

Jack went through so much since the plane crashed. From the first life he couldn't save (poor Boone) to the moment when he made the ultimate sacrifice. Matthew Fox played him brilliantly.
The episode after Jin and Sun are finally reunited and they are killed off. I know it's just a TV show but that was heartbreaking. Jin had a chance to save himself and refused to leave Sun to die alone.

Later when Jack absolves Sawyer of his guilt in Sun, Jin and Sayid dying, Jack comes full circle. In Season 1, when Boone dies, Jack blames Lock for it. Truth is while Locke was maybe the factual reason why Boone was in the plane, Locke didn't cause Boone's death. Nonetheless Jack needs to assign blame; he needs to find fault when he can't fix things. Here, Sawyer ignored Jack's pleas and yanked the wires.. While Sawyer is the factual reason why the bomb blew up, he was not the moral cause of their deaths. Jack changed and realized this. He goes after MiB, but not with anger and blind rage and just charging ahead.
I love that this show gives its characters the time to mourn the loss of their own. So many other shows forget to examine the emotional cost placed on other characters when one of them dies in an effort to keep the plot moving.
Ok so after I finished lost I rewatched it and I saw sun and Jin's death I was balling then I paused then stopped crying and then I forgot that they all started crying and I'm watching it and I'm just like I just stopped crying and now I have to cry all over
Season 6 was probably the darkest season of all the seasons because we finally see all these characters we grew to love in this scene totally breakdown. Three of their friends died took a toll on each of them. 😎
There was a tone to it that felt dark, ominous, and cataclysmic. There's a sadness to it. Sawyer is in pain having lost Juliet and believes he's destined to be alone forever. Kate seems resigned to having neither Jack nor Sawyer. Jack believes he completely annihilated any chance at restoring his relationship with Kate. Sayid gave up on himself, feeling he is beyond saving...beyond any redemption. Richard is in utter despair feeling his very long life has been for NOTHING.
Might be the best scene in the show for me, what an episode. Surprisingly excellent for season 6. They really stepped it up with the final few, barring the weird ones like Jacob's
You can see that this is where all of them wish that they would also be dead, they keep losing the people who matter to them the most. The fact is that all of them were much better off dead and in the afterlife with the people they loved the most than being alive. - Sawyer was completely destroyed and suicidal about Juliet's death that i truly believe that some time after he got off the island, he committed suicide. He knew he would find peace within his death and he was literally unable to live without Juliet. I think in his remaining days, he spent them with Juliet's sister Rachel and Juliet's nephew Julian because they were the only reminder and connection to Juliet. I don't believe he'd want to visit Cassidy and his daughter because he knew they're better off that way. - Kate went straight to prison for violating her 10 year parole. Maybe she got a life sentence or 20 years. - Claire went to mental institution because she was mentally insane and unstable to care for her son Aaron which is why he was left in permanent care to Claire's mother.

I still hate the writers for killing jin and sun , and right after they reunited? What happens to their daughter then? Raised by the same man who started all of jin and sun's misery , her father? Instead of giving them an happy ending they gave them an horryfing ending
