Very clever! Great way to join the cut ends. When I melt a single end and need it pointy to go through a hole, I sometimes melt it and roll it on a flat surface. From now on I am using your joining technique, very smart way to join.
@dongkhamet1351 I had done this technique with an old work badge. I was able to make it so that if it got caught, it would come apart but be solid enough to wear.
Heat gun works good too. But if it's something my life could depend on I knot it and then hit it with a lighter. It doesn't look as nice as yours but its strong.
