My first TABATA! Excellent and it did go by fast! It’s so beneficial to include the warm up and stretching in your video.. otherwise I would probably skip those. But since I’m in your “class” I feel compelled to complete them. Thanks for all your hard work to improve our health❤️
I think most people will also skip the warm-up if it isn't there, which is why I do include it:) Occasionally I create short 'add-on' workouts so people can add them onto other workouts and I also hope they are used as they are intended. Never heard of TABATA before today. A great interval workout that gets the heart rate up, but very doable for all levels with the customization suggestions you provide. Finishing your workouts with a plank so I don't lose what we gained 🤪. Thanks for helping me stay strong 💖.

I love the way you structure your tabata workouts because you are the only one Jules who knows to actually rest during the breaks. I really like the way you talk, Jules, during the workout, although for you it is an extra effort. After these exercises, even my knee stopped hurting, although I had previously wondered whether to do this session. I didn't get particularly tired, just sometimes performed some of the dynamic elements at a slightly slower pace. It's been a long time since I've done a similar great session. It was great and I've almost got my squat 'norm' passed for today. People underestimate how important squats are. It's also worth doing, I'm not talking to you, Jules, the kind of exercise that involves sitting down on a chair very slowly, for about 8 - 9 seconds, and getting up just as slowly. Repeatedly, of course. Thank you very much, Jules, for an excellent workout.💛
Thank you, Lucius. You're bang on...squats are SUPER important. By doing them, we work on the same leg muscles that allow us to sit down on a chair and get up again, which is what we do many times throughout our day. People often don't realize they are technically doing squats throughout their daily life (even when using the toilet). It's muscles we need to keep strong. The sit-to-stands challenge the same muscles and by doing them, we'll be standing longer and out of a wheelchair longer. If our leg muscles are strong, the muscles can support the knees better as well (and the pain in the knees will be less). As for talking, it's actually less work for me to create talking videos. The no-talking workouts take about twice the amount of time to edit.
@@ImprovedHealth Thank you very much for the additional clarification. Speaking of the toilet. In old age, people suffer from constipation. We should, like our ancestors, use the squatting position when defecating. Squatting exercises also make this easier :) "Homo sum et humani nihil a me alienum puto"....
Congrats for looking for workouts that you CAN do! If you look at my playlists, I categorize all of my workouts there. I create 3 levels (gentle, beginner and intermediate). If this one worked well for you, hopefully more of the beginner level workouts will also work well.
Jules, I REALLY liked this workout! I liked the speed, the short breaks - all of it! I liked how it made me sweat, got my heart beating and then gave me a moment to slow down. Thanks for your creativity!

Whew! We made it! We couldn’t go as fast as you on all of them, but most of them we stayed up pretty well. That’s some (sweaty)workout in a short time! We didn’t do anything to make it easier, but I don’t think I could’ve gone any harder, either. Great one, Julie!! Thanks for pushing and encouraging us always! ❤
Good morning Jules! Thanks for recommending this workout. It was easier than the Cardio Part 1 but just as energizing. I was able to keep up but that's because it was for beginners. I still want to go back to do Cardio Part 2 sometime this week just so I don't feel like I didn't complete a set. Have a great day! This was my second time doing this one. Don’t think I’m ready for intermediate yet. Is a good one to get my heart rate up. And very forgiving with the short times. Very interesting. I researched Tabata after my first time. I look forward to doing this one often till I think I’m ready to move up. Thank you 🤗

My first ever Tabatha and I loved that. Really got into it and I'm now off to start day 1 of the 25 day programme. Wish me luck after a busy prosecco weekend, so exercise is needed.
