    I clean inlet manifolds and the only way to do it correctly is to remove the manifold then they are clean.

  • @warrenmaker798
    @warrenmaker798 14 дней назад

    'Catch Cans' do NOT stop inlet manifold build up. They just take the oil component away from the equasion that comes from the PCV system. The EGR system still provides more than enough exhaust gas dry soot to clog up the inlet manifold all by itself. Inlet manifold clogging is a 2 part problem. Doing one without the other is like flogging a dead horse.

    984Nm to 1153Nm on stock turbo's you say? Nice to see the scheiß is passed on from one generation to another.

    These guys are the consummate professionals when it comes to tuning diesels. My 200,000km 100 Series tows the caravan much more easily after a DP Chip install, then a dynotune a year later after I fitted a larger inter-cooler and 3" exhaust.

      A chip tune cannot be compared to a true remap !

    The fuel filter light comes on when the DP is to high that is the best way to indicate when to change a fuel filter, you won’t get bypassing of debris more likely to get poor performance from low fuel flow

    1000+NM sounds very high for a conservative tune.

    What gear was the tune at 1000nm?

    I am curious to see an intake pulled off and show how clean it is with one of these chemical cleans.. iv seen how bad they are.. and can not see how they get all the shit out..

      @@adamnorton9701 What it WOULD have done is will have washed any trapped grit in the intake from the problematic stock airbox BDS claim is ok (as no one else in Australia knows how to instal an air filter correctly apparently) into the engine. Sure it won't show any problems immediately.... but sooner or later old mate is going to be in a whole world if hurt if he's had it on gravel for any period of time!

    Hi Guys, my 1VD Twin turbo engine on my LC200 got severely damaged and because of the price I am planning to swap it with a 1UR FE or 2UZ FE with preference for the last. I was wondering if there are major work that would make this impossible (Diesel to Petrol conversion among others).
    Appreciate your feedback!!!

    My question is do they actually turn the egr off on this ecu tuning to stop all the dirty carbon going in to the intake

    • @danielbrown4133

    with 1000nm should be able to do a wheelie and hit 10's on the strip after you pump in almost enough fuel to run 2 D11's and get a bigger twin turbo setup

      Yeah, have seen this on a few of berrimas videos, they dont know how to properly set up their dyno to read derived torque which is torque at the wheels, they also don't use the correct gears in auto vehicles or lock the converter which inflates the torque figures alot

    Berrima Diesel claim to be experts in their field. I write this review in utter disappointment and disgust at the service and workmanship that Berrima Diesel claim to provide. I write this review with a warning to people looking to book Berrima Diesel...DO NOT! You will have your money taken with their claim of expertise and be very disappointed with the outcome. You will then raise your concerns and be gaslit. I will be branded disgruntled etc but somebody needs to hold these 'experts' to account.

    STD the 200 come from factory with around 650nm (+/- 5nm) and a safe tune will take to 850nm …. This is incorrect 1000+nm

    • @gregwilson9035
      @gregwilson9035 2 месяца назад +1

      That Toyota figure is 650 N/m at the flywheel mate. They are reading the torque at the wheels, not the flywheel. Hence why there is a difference.

    650 nm for a standard 200 and thats at the crank, going by Toyotas specs… how did 984m come from 135 kw at the wheels?
