I had the pleasure of seeing them a couple of years ago with the Hu band as their opening act. It was one of the top three shows I have ever seen. I have been going to rock concerts for nearly fifty years but Volbeat is on another level for me.

Frontsinger Michael Poulsen is my hometown boy, he got a house in my city, and sometimes i see him around.. my old work partner did go to scool with Michael, and i actually meet Michael in my friends appartmemt, drinking some beers, and stuff, also one time we went to a casino, that was fun times, but yes a while back before Volbeat got real huge.
Michael is a very nice and funny guy..
also i can tell a fun fact, that Michael wasnt that keen on school, he always just said, he was gonna be a rock star.. and well he is now isnt he..lol
A friend introduced me to Volbeat 5 years ago, so of course, this was the first song they played for me. Followed by Lola Montez and Still Counting. High energy group!
I was there at this concert and it was absolutely amazing. Michael Poulsen sounds amazing live!

To be honest i always shave my head for about... 15 years now. You will get used to it. But, on the summer sun, use strong sun protection, head skin burns easily.

Michael Poulson’s voice reminds me so much of Glenn Danzig’s! Volbeat is one of my favorite bands! And I agree with Queens of the Stone Age comment, definitely!

Love Volbeat! So much content over the years from them! Always been the perfect workout jams. I seen them open for Ghost, and Ghost was so boring after rocking out to them! LOL More please! Try Doc Holiday live at Rock Am Ring, or Rock Am Park. And I almost unsubbed for the nickelback comparison, but you saved it at the end there. 🤘🤣🤘
They didn’t open up for Ghost, they were doing these concerts together 50/50, the reason why Ghost was playing last was that they was having more “theater” gear on the stage so they didn’t have to spending time moving all Ghosts gear out of the stage.
