Michael the frontman was actually in a heavy metal band, but wanted to mix metal, rock and Rockabilly, so he seached for bandmembers, and created Volbeat as we know and love them
Volbeat (their name) is actually inspired from Michaels former bands album: Vol.Beat.

You need to listen to more. These guys are intense. When my 32 year was little I got him into Rock, now he is introducing me into new bands although Volbeat is not that new
Volbeat has well over 100 great songs. Doc Holliday, Sad Man's Tongue a couple more headbangers you should listen too.
Vocal dynamic is actually called falsetto.
The right ear thing is panning... if one guitar band then the intro tends to be a single track and when it drops, then it's usually a double tracked guitar.
Everyone I know I always ask them if they've heard of Volbeat. Most say no which really is a shame but I'm spreading the word.

Incredible live band!! I had seen the guys in December this year..it was my first concert but definitely not the last one!! Hope they come to Germany soon again!!!

Would like to suggest another danish band for U to check out : Mew with the track Comforting Sounds ( best version is live from Copenhagen ) they are not as " heavy " as Volbeat , more like mellow rock /alternative but totally awesome , hope U will check them out ( the lead singer Jonas - vocal in Mew is an eargasm to in my oppinion , just on another lvl / genre ) Liked and subscribed !
