    Getting a title for my 1974 Honda MT250 Was so much easier than I ever thought it would be thanks to dirt legal! This was a big step for this restoration project because now I will actually be able to ride this bike on the street! (legally).

    I think this is more of a plug for dirt legal. This is easy to do yourself for 1/4 of the price.

      @@hunterkrech2599 No, some states just allow out of state registration. VT is one, and there are others. You don't need a title to register, anything 15 years and older doesn't need one in this state.

      VT is the only one I know. If there are others let me know, but they’ve been fast and east to deal with, and only charged me $90.

    Think I'll get mine the old fashioned way and get a bonded variety or go through the inspection rights with the DMV. Most of my bikes never cost what they want to charge a client. Thanks anyways GG.

    not a good deal if you find out vin is reported stolen or insurance write off for salvage . You pad 500$ for a key chain

    • @DirtLegal
      @DirtLegal 2 года назад +3

      We can still register salvage vehicles without inspection. Plus we offer a VIN search which can be used before purchasing the bike to make sure it's not stolen. It's not just a keychain, it's a special edition, orange plated, top-of-the-line, hand-embroidered keychain!

  • @blakeepperson3902
    @blakeepperson3902 2 года назад +2

    I don’t think the title matters that much. Vermont doesn’t require titles for bikes under 500cc. For $90 I registered my ts400 in Vermont. Next I will transfer registration back to my local DMV. They must accept registration transfers from non-titling states. It will be legal for street, and the next owner can just register it in their name with a bill of sale.

    Loos like a scam to me. You still do not have a title and without the title you can not have it switched ti your state. $25 for a notary stamp is crazy. It is $6 at the Currency Exchange here and many banks will do it for free if you have an account with them.

    • @blakeepperson3902
      @blakeepperson3902 2 года назад +1

      False, by law your dmv must accept registration transfers from non titling states. Easy to do yourself as long as you have a bill of sale.

      The transferable registration is a legal ownership document. Also for $25 you are getting it notarized ONLINE so you don't even have to leave your house. For $6 you might have to spend 1 hour driving to the bank and waiting in line.

      @@DirtLegal Yea but saving hundreds of dollars is worth it. Your service is great for people who aren't smart enough to read or too lazy to fill out two forms. For non street legal dirtbikes this service makes a lot more sense, otherwise the Vermont loophole only requires the intelligence of a 5th grade child and a printer.
