The Abandoned Hobbit House enchanting folly in English countryside slowly being reclaimed by nature!

This enchanting ‘hobbit house’ was hand built by an English sheep farmer using stones he found on his land. This magical building includes dovecots, turrets and a selection of stained glass windows depicting the changing of the seasons. Starting in the 1980s it took over a decade to complete. A white barn owl took up residence and stayed throughout its construction. The farmer sold the land in 2000 but has sadly now passed away. This captivating folly is now recognised as a grade 2 listed building. It is said the farmer who built this charming structure never fully settled after relocating to Scotland and had recurring dreams about the place he loved so much. Despite this he only ever returned to visit once in his lifetime before he sadly passed away in 2018. Located somewhere in the UK (not Norfolk).
