Such emotion surfacing in me means that he was a good actor. Knowing that he was River's younger brother made me recall how I enjoyed River's performances in the past and such enjoyment was cut short by his death. Knowing the experiences that Joaquin Phoenix must to go through to obtain this level of acting made me realize that River must be happy having planted in his brother's heart and mind the love for acting.

He should’ve been as big as he is now as he was when he was younger. Truly an amazing actor, probably the best actor of our time. I’m glad he’s getting all of this attention now though. However, I was extremely upset by the fact that he didn’t win an Oscar for “Walk the line” or for “Gladiator”. And there’s a ton of his other roles that at least deserved a nomination.

Joaquin (walking the walk ) : Emulating the Joker through body language, posture and screen presence.
Talking the talk: Capturing the feel of the Joker through voice modulation, dialogue delivery, diction and an impeccable joker laugh.
I'm saying that Joaquin Phoenix is delivering a great performance as the Joker, and putting some wordplay in there.
      Try again.

The first time I really noticed Joaquin was "Signs"
I realize Mel Gibson had the lead in that film but there was just something about his acting that you could relate too and it felt inviting. So I started watching more of his films. "Master" is a really good performance with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman of which I adore as well. Most recently, another film Joaquin did that I thought was really good "Dont worry, he won't get far" tells the story of an alcoholic who becomes confined to a wheel chair.
Really well done. I did like Joker but I cant say it's his best performance.
