They come in pretty much anything
Some 8hp70 boxes are weaker. Ex from a jeep although it is rated at 700nm.
is it built gearbox or stock ? can the stock one rake 8000rpm and be used for track ? or overheating ?
People have NO IDEA How fucking good these ZF8Hp’s are, and everyone is cringing “ahh AUDI why u PUT ZF in your RS CARS (besides RS3) because they are beastly transmissions, they are better than the DSG’s HANDS DOWN.
I’ve owned both more than once. A good dct is better than any zf8 I’ve ever driven. G80 M3, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, B9 RS5, xhp tuned ZF8’s. They are awesome and can feel like a dct, but a proper dct like a Pdk, the Mk8 R Dsg, etc are definitely better for performance than a ZF8.
You know that ZF makes an 8 speed Dct? Why would they even make the dct if the torque converter is better? That’s because it isn’t. You’ve watched too many reviews of people saying it’s better than the dct when it really isn’t. It can be better than older dct’s or crappy dct’s, but outright performance with all things being equal goes to a proper dct.
Zf8 is more than good enough for a street car in terms of (up)shift speed and quality, we really don’t need better.
And what modern DCT has been proven to hold the power of say a 7675 Turbo commonly used in lots of fast RB cars ? @@PapiAndrey

Hi. When the BMW 320d or 320ied driving, all of them makes a hard movement to the front, the car shifts down from 3 to 2 while I am slowing down, and if I pump up just on the shifting or just little bit after the shifting it makes a hard movement , the engine speed highs up and then its shifts to 3 again. İts actually normal. But I think its disturbes the comfort of the drive. Do you have that experience? Thanks
What diff ratio it use? Its from BMW or Jaguar Box ?
How much torq you are running? I am planning to put this transmission in to turbocharged BMW 540i but I am a bit worried can the 8HP70 handle the power.
8HP70 is good till 1200nm

Considering one of those as my goal is only around 550whp but from around 5000rpm which would be about 580wtq peak but dropping off after that
@@emersonflores580 yes same gearbox. youll go through the clutches in the A clutch pack fast at that power level if they are stock. you can upgrade clutches entire trans and add an extra clutch to the a pack for about 2k and it will hold 1000hp/ft lbs all day long. i have a pure drivetrain solutions built stage 8hp75 in my car and its rated for 1600ft lbs. my car makes 1300whp 1150ft lbs and it drives like stock. never misses a shift even at 8500 rpm and 40 psi of boost.
The last digits of the 8hp state the maximum torque it's rated too. The 45 =450nm 50=500nm etc people go the 70 because even stock pretty much handles that or a bit more no problem. I have a built 8hp 70 rated to 1600nm going into my 700rwhp fj 45 barra swapped land cruiser with the dvt sequential shifter. I can not wait to drive it
In the automatic transmission zf6hp of the bmw e60, which engine would fit in it without adaptations or with few? Ea113, ea888, N13, Hyundai Lambda, Hyundai Theta?

Absolute Amazing performance but I don't like the delay that exists since you pull the stick until the box change the gear..
Still preffer the old mechanical sequential gearboxes..
But yes I know that old mechanical systems like smasonas quaife etc are insane expensive and this new option is a way lot cheaper and also better in performance

I have seen zf8hp shift way faster than this though, must be in settings, or maybe if used the newer 8hp75 instead of 70

Depends on which 8hp you and what car it comes from. Not all 8hp70 bellhousing are the same
on a bmw 340i f30 you can put 8hp70 with HTG

Considering that the 70 is what's in a non hellcat charger or challenger, you should be alright. The 90 is in the hellcats

How do you get the pops on the shift?
Timing cut, I’m sure the GCU and ECU are linked CAN or GCU output to ecu when shifting tells the ecu to cut.

I would like to use this tranny in my swap, I'm just worried about the problems that come from having this transmission. Hopefully your software solves alot of those issues.
the 8hp dont have problems. literally the best trans ive ever had, and i have a bunch of race cars etc over the years.
