    Suggest cooking the egg separately, and then add to the rice.

    You need a salt and pepper mill.
    I would have trimmed the steaks before putting on the grill.
    Still makes me hungry.

    Try leaving the soy sauce out of the rice and separating the eggs so that you can add the yolks to the rice before you do the cooking on the griddle. This will turn the rice yellow. Add the whites as you cook the rice.That will get you a good looking yellow fried rice that really shows off the veggies in the rice and provides a good contrast to the steak on the plate.

    Nice work! I'm wondering if the egg should be Cooked and scrambled first, then added to the rice mixture?

    • @bigbilly6384
      @bigbilly6384  4 года назад +1

      That’s definitely a possibility. I was just trying to do what I’ve seen done at my local hibachi place.

    • @drphil2307
      @drphil2307 4 года назад +2

      Tbh it should be cooked a bit by itself, adding the egg directly to the rice "coats" chunks of rice. I learned that the hard way, just cook the eggs about 30 seconds to 1 minute solo then add to the rice.

    Break some raw eggs onto the pile of rice at 4:15. then toss it up. thats how we asians do it. you’ll like it. helps loosen the rice up a bit onnce egg coats rice.
