Fresh sliced of turkey breast instead of charcuterie/processed meat
Cheers from San Diego California
🚨 The biggest health issue in the USA are the American food laws. In the USA food producers are allowed to add a ton of unhealthy, almost poison additions to food. Most foods sold in the USA are illegal to sell in Europe because they don’t pass the European food laws (because US produced food is just much too unhealthy and even poison). Just compare for example the ingredients of USA Heinz tomato ketchup and UK (Europe) Heinz tomato ketchup. 🚨
And most of our food is fake.
Yep.
Whole grain white whatever doesn't matter with all the other poisonous junk allowed but of course that won't be talked about here. Keep it vague and don't elude to anything that might piss off a sponser.
Or, they could tell the truth.
🤣
Roll ups are a great way to reduce calories and sodium in sandwiches. And yes, I also use Hummus instead of Mayo or Mustard. I recently discover a new substitute for a Ruben. Instead of sauerkraut, use coleslaw! I’m on a kidney disease diet, 1 slice Sourdough or French bread.
Love this video, more like this please, especially for eating out! Thank you!
Good tip for replacing mayo with hummus, I never would have considered that but it makes total sense!
If you don't want to give up mayo, try a light mayo, olive oil mayo, or avocado oil mayo. All are sold in you major grocers, Walmart, Target, etc. Also, you can thin out your mayo by mixing it with other condiments, water, lemon juice, etc. Get creative with it! A 2 tbsp serving of hummus does not contain that much less calories then the mayos I mentioned due the tahini and oil.
Homemade mayonnaise is healthy too but if you have the time
I use mustard
Disappointed that there are no plant based alternatives showed in this segment.
So Awesome! 🔥Such a Great video! 👍I love the way you produced it.♥ Props to the videographer. 🎥Hope the next one be as good. 👏
Who the hell is putting Ketchup on their sandwiches? Also everything in moderation. Pay attention to the bread size and what kind of bread you're using. Don't load your sandwich with meat to the point that it's heavy, you don't need a lot for a well-composed delicious sandwich (3 - 4 slices is enoungh for a standard bread slice). Add lots of healthy topping like grilled veggies, hot pepper speads, pickled veg, LTO, avocados, etc. (toss your lettuce with a homemade vinagrette). Use mayo (avocado oil mayo preferably), but thin it out with other condiments, water, lemon juice, etc.
As someone said below, the food is not the problem. It's the consumer.
Btw, unless you're eating falafel or something with a pita, hummus on sandwiches SUCKS (and I love hummus). And it's not THAT healthy or low fat as the serving size of 2 tbsp typically contains 70 calories (from the tahini and oil), which is about the same for a light mayo, olive oil mayo, or avocado oil mayo.
Again, the foods are not the enemy.
Yummy sandwich🐔🐠🍔🥪
The food is not the problem
