"Nothing was going through my head".
Think that sums up 99% of your recoveries.
Was his brother's fault
I like him!
And your comment.
🤣🤣🤣
I like how Matt and the others never make the people feel stupid for getting stuck. They always find a way to compliment them about something they did right.
As a high school teacher, that's one of the most important lessons I've learned over my career. Many kids already feel dumb or overloaded, and helping them learn that they're doing well is profoundly important. I agree, it's great that Matt and the team do this for their customers. In addition to being kind to people, it's just good business.
Shaming your customers isn’t a good business strategy.
And the one thing they usually did right was making that call...lol.
Besides, Matt says “smells like money to me!” Love watching this channel just to see what kind of situations people get into!
@MrDoucheBags123 I think he was more angry than that. That trailer was swamped. He feels dumb for listening to his brother-in-law.
Matt, I do not if you will see this comment but here it goes. I am James, I am the one that gifted you some gear a couple of days ago. I used to build off-road cars for desert racing as well as street performance cars. Most people discount old people as having nothing left to contribute, but you welcomed this old long-haired, bearded man with respect. You showed the details of the banana build and even took me for a ride in the Morvair. I feel privileged to have that honor! In the end, when you gifted me recovery gear, it brought tears to my eyes. [don't tell anyone, it would ruin my image] THANKS MATT!
Glad you have some of the older videos put up for us to watch. Matt is such a great personality. Sweet Lizzy is so talkative it's a joy listening to her.
....Lizzy driving the moorvair is a real thing of beauty ....
Should we leave you alone?
"Gasoline, in the car, without a funnel" Its the little things in life that are worth appreciating Rudy, dont let anyone tell you different

At 8:23... Imagine being stuck in your manly truck and some young babe in a bad ass vehicle pulls up and says she'll pull you out!!! hahahaha LOVE IT!
That describes my blond wife pulling up in her setup isuzu amigo with factory locked d44 pulling one tons with crap tires out of the snowbanks. Cracks me up everytime.
@@Christopher-vf6kx cool!
One thing I've learned from these videos: if I'm stuck with a trailer, DO NOT DISCONNECT unless the recovery service asks me to AFTER they get there.
Other thing is how important tires are, street tires don't work in sand
@@wakkopete any tire works in the sand if you air down of course paddle tire work the best but the key to sand is stay on top of it a aired down tire dosent sink in the sand and the tire tread dosent matter to much if the tire has to much tread or is to agresive a tread pattern the tire will dig in to the sand instead of floating on top of it
Eh. You disconnect if you can reposition yourself better. Like if your stuck in a rut
the main issue, is that with a trailer there's no need to go in this sand nightmare. Park it somewhere, go offroading with truck.
@@sibbolo9204 except waterfront campsites are the best. If you get away with it. 😬
Rudy out there with the Dr.phil lines 😆 , " wanna talk about what was going thru your head"😅😂😂😂.

Rudy's Small talk Game: "So...you been stuck before?"
"Come here often?" lol I love that Rudy just leans into his awkward comments/questions.
The purr of the corvair pulling something out is so beautiful.
Lizzy driving the Morrvair is the baddest thing on RUclips!! 🔥🔥🔥
I like how they underestimated the Morrvair and it just yanked over 10,000 lbs out of the sand with ease.
Probably closer to 20-25K lbs.

That giant bus was a tough one on it, but the weight difference was just crazy.
The "hook truck" is beyond crazy kool! Your channel was RUclips recommended and they did not miss on this one. I'm an ex U.S.A.F Aircraft Pneudraulics (Hydraulics/Pneumatics) System Tech. stationed at Edward's A.F.B in the Mojave Desert, my point is, as bright as we were, and with all of the technology we had at that time, (no smart phones yet) we could and did get stuck for hours when we went out to play. We never had anything as awesome as your hook truck for getting vehicles out of the sand. I learned real fast packing a cooler with sandwiches, cold sodas, and bringing a tent was a necessity in the desert when the brightest and the best the A.F. had decide trying to race in sand was a great idea, every chance we could. 😂
Lizzie was born to wheel the Morvair, lookin good! Great job.
This channel is getting better all the time, really enjoying the direction its going especially when its orientated around family and team work.
The MOORvair finally got a gas neck filler pipe thats a shocker✔
Matt awesome tutelage, communication and mentoring with Lizzy✔
Congrats and pats on the back to Lizzy for stepping up and taking on responsibility, she's earned it✔
It's been fun to see Lizzy's progress as time goes on. Matt has been a wonderful teacher, and she has become a great asset to the team.
But does the MorrVair have a working fuel gauge yet? That's the real question.
Many other recovery channels have been making good comments about this channel

A different scenario every day...great for us viewers...:)
I watched the Corvair build, so it looks normal to me, but every once in a while it hits me how odd it is to see a 4x4 Corvair pulling people out of sticky situations.
Yes, it's unique for sure.
I agree, it's an odd sight.
When it snows here at the bottom of our hill, our neighbor chains up all 4 wheels on his BMW and pulls folks out of the ditch or up the hill (both ways are up from here). It's soooo hilarious to see him pull the same Hummers and Jeeps out year after year.
@@fakename7570 I've seen Jeeps pulled out by Subaru station wagons, that's pretty fun too. ;)
Superficially a Lakewood Corvair, under the skin a formidable 4WD working truck.
I owned a Corvair Spyder When i was a kid, but it sure didn't look like this one lol. Still one of the most fun cars I have ever owned.
I came across this channel two days ago and have binged it. I have a lot of respect for the determination, problem-solving skills, and kindness that are exhibited. I also enjoy watching the dogs when they're allowed to come along.

Who’s envious of the dance partner!
She’s got moves!
Not me , dancers are always so full of themselves. They are statistically pretty much the top hobby for cheating on your partner. No thanks dont care what you look like .
I've seen it with my own eyes. Plus the stats don't lie
@@Amerikanskis Then what you do, is take up dancing right along with them.
@@pppaybackkk yes, and they don't have other dance partners.
If your woman's legs, thighs, privates touch another man in a dance. she's being unfaithful on both an emotional and physical level.
you go rub your package all over a girls butt, you're doing the same thing.
its just like dating lots of people. every person you date lowers your chance of dying married by like 5-10%. by the time you date 10 people.. statistically you're gunna die alone. I have 100% confirmed this observation in my own family members as well.
you think that dancing is different but its just humping without kissing. dancers cheat as much as flight attendants/pilots and bankers.
you can go ahead and mull that thought over for a bit. as much as flight attendants and pilots. are you aware of how AID's spread in the united states and the profession of the carrier.
yeah I'm gunna go that far. women who dance like that gunna gave you dancing down the clinic for penicillin. then they're gunna leave you with an empty bank account and a broken heart. you're too stupid or unwise if you like that stuff. good luck.
ill be over here building intergenerational wealth with a homebody loyal woman ... who only likes dancing for/with me. And has enough self respect that she requires me to not rub my dick on everything with a vagina on the dance floor.
@Cottontail Grouse these people have no self respect.
the idea of being humiliated by infidelity doesn't even resonate.
"20 bucks" says the dancer in this video has some sexual trauma leading to attention seeking behavior. She's mentally unstable and has probably been on or considered antidepressants. hopefully dodged that being a country girl.
she'll be Freudian. loving to say stuff like "yes daddy" in bed. because one thing you can guarantee is any woman who acts like that doesn't love her actual father and would love you to replace him.
probably constantly insecure comparing herself to other women and the results they get attention seeking men.
massive chance of major jealousy issues with other women and nothing resembling a healthy peer to peer Female relationship.
i'd literally eat my own hat if 80-90% isnt true because ive seen the exact same thing like 20 times. Its like a pattern that just sucks these girls in, or its the nature of a broken woman destined to be single mother.
that's what i see. every time. i can spot men who grew up without fathers just as fast.
its always a trauma.
"It's gonna tip over." LOL....kids are so funny. Thanks for sharing all the interesting things you do.
Rudy should be operating the Morvair cause he’s an Actual Wrecker Operator!!!!
Matt's pretty smart. The more he can teach Lizzy the less he has to do.
I thought Matt had a couple boys for that, maybe I was mistaken, my bad, lol
Looked to me like she did pretty well the whole way out, minus the snatch. She should have been ready to go at the start, but she spun just enough on the way out to keep moving, but not so much that she buried the truck. Something that's very difficult to teach.
@@jerryb1234 She's a hard worker and really smart. You keep that on the team however you can.

Lizzy is a natural and looks comfortable driving the Moorvair.
So when are you going to let Lizzy do a recovery on her own?
Seeing how far she has come from when she first started she could definitely handle it
Nothing was going through my head, never a truer word was spoken.

Can't get enough of hearing that Morrvair work! One Super Build!
Haven't missed a video in eight or nine months now! Smart move, putting Lizzie in the drivers seat! As a female old enough to be her grandmother who spent 25 years in a male dominated industry, YOU GO GIRL! Hats off to you Matt. Your team makes very interesting videos and you go out of your way to help and make people feel like they haven't made a huge mistake. The Jeep was cool, the Corvair takes it to a new level of cool! Yep, I'm old enough to have driven one!
You betcha! I can remember more than once pulling into a site with 25 tons of material and the foreman saying something brilliant like "you're a girl!" Yeah, well, the truck doesn't know that. ;-)
@@permaquilter9111 A lot of guys forget how much driving , welding , and other tasks were done by women , when labor was short during WW # 2 . ( Take note of what is
coming out now about the astronaut program . In the late 1950`s and early 1960`s , some women went through the astronaut training program , and did very
well . In fact , I think that they did as well , or better , than the men in a similar program . Then , the program was cancelled . It was appalling . We need to
reward excellence , not stifle it .)
She’s a driver! She can get it done 🔨
The whole time my daughter was growing up, I told her that I never want to hear because I'm a girl.
I told my daughter when she was growing up, "Unfortunately, as a woman, you have to be twice as good as the men to get the same respect. Fortunately, that's not difficult."
I get goose bumps every time I hear the MOORVAIR!
I think Rudy needs to paint his jeep yellow and gray. Would make the convoy look even more impressive.
Yeah Rudy, working on your interviewing style. Doing great just keep that BIG SMILE. The camera crew did a GREAT JOB.
Who “👍s” before even watching the video ?
Poor kid. Now he wants one of these cool Corvairs that pulled that dually out so easily. He's been searching Google for days trying to find one to no avail. He's been watching for this video to come up so he can tell his friends.
But now that he's found this channel, he can watch the MorrVair build series and should be inspired to build something epic!
Got my dually and 40 ft toy hauler stuck on the north rim of the Grand Canyon in the NF. We were good until the overnight rainstorm. Thank God for my winch and a very helpful NFS employee:)

Great job everyone. Lizzy gets kudos big time. I had no idea Lizzy could dance and move like that. Wow.
People don't realize that just because it looks dry it probably isn't when it around a lake! Good job on both pickups and trailers!
I learned my lesson years ago!! When I see reeds stay away!!
They need to learn to recognize that those reeds that they were driving through means "wet".
That's what I would call job security 😉
See it all the time around the Salton Sea, California.
Michiganders know you don't drive heavy shit near a beach or lake.
For someone who's never been in a recovery situation before he did awesome with wheel placement and throttle control
The way Matt gives knowledge to just about everyone is quite nice to see. Just a matter of fact tone to help nothing more. The way it should be with everybody.
The drone shots really added some context to the landscape. Keep up the awesomeness.
Watching the Morvair pulling that dually was impressive that thing is an absolute beast
This channel is almost as much fun as a boat ramp on a weekend afternoon.
Just add wind to up the excitement factor!

Practice your Slo-mo stride!
Please dont 😂lmao
20" or 22" rims are just fine for off roading. As long as you're running over 44" tires...
Rims had nothing to do with anything here.
@@watcherofwatchers That's what I was saying. It was their low profile tires that were most of the problem. Can't even air down to improve traction and flotation.
@@watcherofwatchers Dude had razor thin mud terrains on. Mall crawler.
@@pppaybackkk That wouldn't have mattered in either situation. Both vehicles were far too heavy, and airing down wouldn't have changed that. And Matt doesn't air down customer tires, and they're still far too heavy for it to matter. So, again, rim size is irrelevant here.
In fact, in most of these videos, rim size is irrelevant, because most of these vehicles are not built for offroad. It's just people who are on adventures with their daily drivers or whatever. It's not worth building a sand/rock/whatever rig if it's only an occasional deal.
There's nothing wrong with making a mistake and needing a little help. It isn't a moral or intellectual failure. It's just making a mistake. We all make them.
@@bruhice6058 Judgemental nonsense. The vehicle isn't built for off-road use. Oh no! The horror.
Comments and attitudes like that are what have killed this community. Not every vehicle has to be a custom rig designed for some off-road purpose. Furthermore, people who do build rigs like that still get stuck.
Be nice to people.
Felt like the PowerStroke guy was embarrassed, and frankly, being too hard on himself. Different terrains do different things in different locales....
That is how we all learn the lessons we never forget! 😉

Lizzie just killing it . I can’t explain why I feel proud I never met you guys. Keep on trucking boys and gals.
My family used to own busses, we did like school trips and daycare trips, at night we did party busses blah blah blah. The amount of time the busses broke down is crazy, usually tires or brake lines (air brakes lock up when lines break) but almost every time those busses sat for a week they would need work done, I don’t know where I am going with this but thank god we sold them all

The dually driving was mint. Just enough tire spin to keep it moving, not so much that the truck got buried. Very important when the towed vehicle outweighs the towing vehicle.
