  • Hearty, delicious, heavily paprikated (it's a word, who says it's not!?) Hungarian pork and sauerkraut stew, inspired by a 2nd Class Tea menu from the RMS Carpathia, the ship that made a daring run through iceberg-filled waters to rescue the survivors of the Titanic disaster.

Very Interesting! I especially liked the background information on the Carpathia! And that does look like a hearty dish!

I think I will give this dish a try, The sauerkraut got my attention, I am not a pork fan so I may just substitute this out but after I try making a small batch using the Porc Shoulder.
Thanks for sharing this recipe :)
I am also a steam ship fan especially those of the late 1800-1950's

Some recipes, both modern and turn-of-the century used both pork and beef, so if you prefer beef, it wouldn’t be completely taboo ;-)
