Bigger oil pan that's able to work with stock headers or different headers paired with bigger pan. Idk if increasing the capacity would help the oil getting trapped in the heads on "sustained uphill right turns". Won't be tracking until I know for sure the oil starvation issue is fixed with a product I can belive in.
Seems like the 2024 GR86/BRZ RTV issue isn't much of a problem anymore from the factory. Thanks for being another owner to confirm the improvements. Maybe we don't need to drop the oil pan for a repaste.
Just got mine serviced, today. I ask Subaru Aus if the RTV issue has been improved. They said it was 'merican made BRZ/GR86. Not an issue with the JP made one. I don't know.
@@wombatcombat3770 All GR86’s and BRZ’s are made exclusively in Japan. I am not sure why your dealership told you that. I have a brand new 2024 BRZ with only 320 miles. At some point, once I find the right meticulous mechanic (familiar with the FA24 & RTV issue). I am going to have the pan dropped and inspected.
@@J.R.F.23 I am thinking the same thing dropping the pan at some point. CM Autohaus, uploaded another GR86 2024 pan drop and it is not looking good. Back to square one.
The RTV issue in general has been very overblown! The oil starvation however I believe is a much bigger deal if you're tracking on long tracks.
