@ttxela tbh mate it's a hard pill to swallow but some bikes and cars are just money pits I have been there very frustrating. But don't give up just yet all the best 👍
Best course of action Alex, whenever you don't feel it walk away and close the door. Just take a break from the situation and give yourself time to re-energise. If you have any cutting fluid like trefoil or similar even grease every few seconds to dip drill bit in. Good luck sir 🙏
your perseverance is admirable, its because of your videos i'v decided to do a lot of maintenance be myself on my stree triple, its a very gorgeous bike but it needs a lot of care and attention, much more than e japanese bike
Thanks, I definitely think it's worth attempting most jobs yourself - plus of course it can be an economic necessity at times! Sadly it's taking me a while to get back to this job - lots of commitments on the calendar. Fortunately the Suzuki is doing great on the daily commute 👍
You need to use a battery drill which will fit into the gap you have you will have more control as well, as soon as I saw you using that drill I knew you would break the drill bit off it is easy to do. Use some cutting fluid / oil on the drill bit as well. You’re doing the right thing though don’t rush it.
Weld a nut on the stud.while it's still hot the stud should come out with the nut etc. Th one that's almost flush. Clean what's left so it's a good electrical connection. Place a nut over it and spot well it through centre of nut again when hot undue nut and stud should come out. George
I said it before mate .your patience is incredible I would of got a new bike ages ago lol
Needs must I'm afraid, having said that a replacement may be on the cards soon!

Can recommend Rocol RTD. A tub of that will last you a lifetime & your drills will last so much longer too.
Thanks, it is proving a bit of a game!
I'll order some 👍

Thanks, I'll have another go very soon!
If there is any thread on the longer stud, try locking 2 nuts onto it and see if that works, you will more than likely need to use heat on both studs.
Thanks, I think I'll try that on the other one!

Thanks George, might try that if the easy out doesn't work 👍
I would have been off to the mechanic, especially on the daily commute.
Ah but that costs money...💰
@@ttxela Even more if you screw it up.
@@ttxela a lot these days
What a tw@t of a job. You did well to walk away from it. For future reference try welding a nut onto a stuck stud. Good luck.
Cheers 🙂 might try that on the other one 👍
