G. Schirmer Concert Band - Grade 5
Composed as a sequel to Rossano Galante's popular work “Cry of the Unicorn” (2011), this exciting and dramatic piece follows the continuing story of the mythical creature through adventures, danger and triumph. In a film scoring style, sweeping themes and rich scoring help make this a memorable work for the symphonic stage. Recorded by the Central Winds: Music Educators' Wind Ensemble, Syracuse, NY - Andrew Perry and Dr. James Tapia, directors.

It is so incredibly fun to revisit this musical world. Hearing all the old motifs mixed with new themes makes my film score heart happy :)
Awesome! Very good!! Rossano Galante is my favorite composer 😍, he always surprises us with each composition. I love it!!

Seems like the prosecution of Cry Of The Last Unicorn
yes, it is..
I had the privilege of seeing this performed live. They commissioned cry of the last unicorn as well and wanted to commission another piece, and someone thought why not do a sequel.
Definitely a lot of Harry Potter vibes
Some parts from Cry of the Last Unicorn, which I suppose is expected considering the name.
It's the same guy so I guess not lol
It's literally a sequel to that piece
Como consigo essa obra de arte 🥺😍

Could you do a tenor sax part for arabesque?
Yeah man
If only concert band composers knew how to write string bass parts
Galante composes and orchestrates for film scores. I’d wager he knows the most about string bass out of all the major wind band composers
@@jenkinsfamily2229film scores aren’t the best bass parts either tbh💀 bassists are capable of so much more than what they’re given
Could you please do scamper by Jared spears?
Can you guys please do three little birds

Really beautiful cover! Could you do Let Her Go by Passenger next?
