How Does Hydro Dipping Work? | Liquid Concepts | Weekly Tips and Tricks
I just came here for an explanation and I now am a veteran of hydro dipping! Great explanation and video!
I know what you mean..... The rabbit hole to knowledge !! Thanks for watching !!
How is hydro dipping so far
Why am I watching this? I have a lot of work due soon
Thanks for watching !!
Great video this week Bryan, I have been watching a bunch of RV videos , doing research on purchasing, but I saw a whole deal about how all the cabinets and stuff being done with Hydrographics, Who knew? it was awesome!
I googled how this works, mostly I wanted to know how the graphic gets put on the water, this totally answered my question. Thanks for the info and satisfying my curiosity.
Glad I could help!
This guy has excellent teaching skills. He makes visibily complex things very simple to understand. Thank you !!
Wow, thanks!
Oh it's a film that dissolves. I had no idea. I just saw a guy doing this with a croc with a super realistic art and my mind blew, because I thought he did that with his hand from zero, like they used to do with book covers centuries ago.
LOL yes there is a film involved! I am glad there is as I am not super artistic to make some of these designs by hand
I just came here after seeing that Instagram video and did a search and here I am too.. very cool. Just seems hard to get the film to stick well. Just wild
It reminds me of the dipping candles they used to demonstrate in a little town in Georgia. They would drip dip those for the colors
And what is the correct base coat?
This guy is my inspiration to my hydrographics business ❤
Thank you!
I’ve always wondered how the design isn’t like distorted. I thought it was straight liquid. I’m like “something’s gotta go wrong”
Informative, I was always curious to how it works, I see it all the time on Facebook,
Glad it helped !! Thanks for watching !!
This is really interesting, he explained it so well.
I want to learn more about it now.
Thank you!
Truly an amazing and pioneer process! 🤩
Thank you!

Been looking into a way to customize my welding helmet and looking into hydro dipping and this is by far the best video I've found explaining
Glad I could help
I have always wondered how this works, thank you!
Happy to help!
Is the paint durable to scratches. Can we do this on wood articles like a console or a stool ?
What's better, film or spray?
Before you apply your primer for the hydrographic stick, is there any further prepwork necessary for the primer to form a stronger bond (eg sanding)?
Yes you will need to sand or sandblast your item prior. Prepping will depend on the material of the part you are working with
Perez Larry Garcia William Martin Helen
How durable is it? Thinking of doing some plastic parts on my quad
Everything is done using automotive primer, paints, and clear coats. It is basically like the finish on your vehicle so it could still scratch just depending on how you ride your ATV/UTV
Website to order the films and printer please
Does it stay on permanently?
Everything is prepped and finished out with automotive products to get you a permanent coating. It is just like the finish on your vehicle when complete as far as durability.

How many minutes should i dry my basecoat before dipping?
Very skillful job🤔👍
Thanks 👍

Thank you. Questions i still have, why do you go so slow when dipping it but then swish things around? How does it not just wash off when you swish things around?
Swishing it around at the end is removing the excess film around the dip. It does not remove it from the dipped part as the print has already embedded to the paint
@@LiquidConceptsUSA Thank you
If I want yellow and black, does that mean for the base paint use yellow? is it right?
Dear, thank you I want a favour, can you provide me with an alternative tonic formula? About xylene because xylene is not available in our area

Hi, I was wondering can you do a Fishing Pole? What would be involved? Would it have to be stripped first to the rod blank? or can you do it over the existing color? what is the stretchiness of the hydro dip would it split and flake off as the pole is flexible? Thank you
For the best prep we would strip the rod and start fresh. The concern is with the flexibility of the pole itself. Everything needs a top coat for protection so there is a chance as the rod flexes that the clear coat could crack.
Do you have an external email or perhaps a business phone? I would like to converse further on this.
