C501 X31 - Dooen Goods Service

SCT have recently required extra power for the Dooen service which is operated multiple times a week between Melbourne and Dooen. The service is usually operated by a lone CSR class locomotive, due to shortages however some heritage units were brought in to cover the service. C501 & X31 belonging to SRHC and Rail Power’s CLF2 were the power chosen This was a great opportunity to capture scenes of the old VR livery’s hauling a revenue train which is a rare sight these days.
I also threw in some extra scenes of C501 moving around Southern Cross after hauling a heritage tour.
