It sounded to me like cargo shifting. The new cars inside those auto racks might have been damaged. Could have easily cost a quarter million. Making a crew go into emergency application isn't funny.

As an Australian, the best fix for the turns would be concrete sleepers. I am surprised that America hasn't upgraded all their mainlines to concrete sleepers with high-quality wood sleepers on most of their branchlines.
Also, after rain, if the drainage is bad, we see what we call it over here mud holes form, so Maintenance is a must.

If there is anything I'd have to gripe about, it's the auto camera settings that VRF uses. Is it really that usefull? These curves are basically minimum radius with no way to reduce the curvature by increasing the radius of either curve. It looks to me like a short car coupled with a long car; that arrangement doesn't work well in sharp curves.

I wonder if the reason for those derailments at Tower 55 is that that curve is simply too tight for those long and heavy trains?

I was just wondering, does the Federal Railroad Commission ever ask for your footage to aid in any of their investigations?

Didn't the derailment happened at the same spot the last derailment happened. I think the tracks might need to be checked and/or repaired

Why are there so many derailments at Fort Worth? It seems like there is one every month. It can't be speed. The trains crawl through there.

Maybe they need to speak to the maintenance crew. Someone is dropping the ball it can't be all the train's fault
