I was on the Zephyr a few years ago when it made an unscheduled stop in Lovelock, NV, to remove a passenger. Sheriff was there to meet the train. The story I heard was that passenger had been rude to a dining car attendant, then they escalated and got into it with the conductor. Of all the places to be stranded by Amtrak, Lovelock is not one where I would want to be.
Good to see the special units on the NS OCS. The Reading unit has to "bee" ready. Also, it seems like La Grange city council may have to look into getting at least a flashing red light for that intersection.
Quite the mystery at Elkhart--lots of cops though. That meet at Austell and the three-way in Fairport were really cool, and it was good to see 4822 at the Curve and that lovely sunset in Waupaca--also, hi to the guy on the ship! Another great one--thank you!
Guy on the ship was being held hostage, escaped to the roof and was desperately flagging hoping someone would notice his distress flag. Not really. Sarc.
causing a disturbance on the train or failing to obey the instructions of the crew are good ways to meet local LEO's when you get the Boot! I figured that sooner or later, a fellow Rennie would find themselves in VRF's viewfinders. HUZZUH!
I have to admit one of my favorite things to do whenever I’m interacting with police is to hold up my iPhone so they can see what kind of iPhone I have. I’m sure they appreciate it as well and I’m have to believe that they’re very impressed with my new case that my iPhone came with as well.
There have been a lot of traffic accidents lately, so this intersection in La Grange seems to be haunted. Lol. For this reason, I believe that the time has come for the City Council to put an end to this scourge through the installation of traffic lights.🚦
She was probably trying to record the EPD doing something wrong. She failed 😆. Karen - you paid for a ticket and didn't follow the rules. Now, if you can't achieve, you CAN'T get a new weave!
I saw a video years ago of a woman getting kicked off an Amtrak at a crossing in the middle of nowhere. She had been painting her nails, of all things, and got quite combative when asked to stop. So they kicked her out at a crossing with a sheriff's car to pick her up. She was screaming about how she was going to get home, and the conductor was not my problem.

Hello, Insurance Co.? My car was hit at an intersection by a black Pontiac Solstice, but the driver didn't stop! Me: It can't be too hard to find the owner as I doubt there are few, if any, black Solstices in LaGrange.
0:43 is that what looks like a crane driving over the tracks with no protection for the tracks? if it is then the track where it crossed seriously needs to be inspected for any damage.
It sure doesn't pay to be disruptive and rude on Amtrak. The crews don't have a problem with kicking your backside off their train and leaving you behind. Now that individual will have to pay for another ticket. IF they'll let that person get on another train. Steep price to pay.
Good idea not to inckude the audio of the unruly passenger(s) getting kicked off. They were probably throwing all kinds of choice words at the train crew & the local cops.
Sounds was ON in Elkhart 09:02 Grabbag-team turned it off. I think it should never be in it in the first place. No need to "advertise" such a behavior. The nice shinny CP loco and an inspection train (TRAINS !!) that passed soon after this are left out of this grabbag... That red NS-train 12:50 is like a prison: almost all windows are blind out. At that point, with lot's to see? Why the Amtrak must be at 2x speed?? 19:02 waving from the middle of the track?
Shanequa was sticking her phone in that Cops face to try to get him to do or say something to her so she can claim Racism and Sue the dept and Amtrak! That should have smacked that phone out of her hand and gave her some nice shiny new bracelets! Its always "Them"!
I can just hear her big old mouth runnin'. Phone up the air filming - I didn't do nothin' - I didn't do nothin'. While everyone else is inconvenienced.

Wow! Excellent catching all the trains, I like them, they're awesome, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much and have a nice day and night.
Wow that was so good Heritage units of fresh paint.
Always fun to watch B-units
Awfully nice of the office train to hold at HSC. Perfect place for pictures!
Interesting the curtains were down on the cars. I guess it was either empty or no one cared for the view around the curve.
With Reading unit right in front of the camera. You didn’t even need to insert a pause there. Poor GP9 was looking confused by it all.

A bit of Virtual Bargefan today.
And of course she came off one of the cars on the Boston section, lol
19:10 Not something you see everyday, a unit scrap train overtaking a unit trash train. Pretty cool.
Both trains are trash trains, just different types of cars for it
100/100! Virtual Railfan!
The Hudson Bay locomotive came through Montana a few weeks ago. Loved the EJ&E unit, as I grew up with trains at Rondout, IL. And a B unit!
Man, those crickets sure are loud at Horseshoe Curve. 😊😊
That’s pretty cool how the bulldozers crossing the tracks at Waycross activated the crossings.
Awesome video as always!
Karen got her phone out
This video looks amazing! It almost looks like a model railroad because the colors are so true. Very nice quality video. Well done!!
Excellent Grab Bag, and this Rush fan also likes the total time of the video. :)
Thank you @PaulCashman - I did not notice the time. I am also a fan - as you can tell by my picture profile and name.

Sperry truck wanted to challenge the train to a race!😮
I think its about time they splurge and put in a traffic light to many people not stopping at four way stop at La Grange anymore.
