Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in multiple locations, especially the Heritage Units, and so much more, I like them, they're awesome, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much and happy early-Independence Day.
The Curve at Altoona and the bridge at Burlington are so photogenic and I always love seeing them--and you found the perfect summery music for that gorgeous ending. Thanks for another great one!
Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇲 May you all have a great time. It seems like the Western Maryland unit is moving through south Georgia a lot lately. I better keep a good lookout for it along the bowline. Also, this grab bag shows that you should expect people to stop at the crossing before you. I nearly got rear ended once by someone that didn't notice I stopped at a crossing. There was no train and no stop sign plus the gates weren't active, but with views of down the track blocked by trees on both sides, it was better for me to play it safe. I've known the gates at that crossing to malfunction twice. Watch out for trains and stopping cars at crossings.
A lot of great grabs, but the Santa Fe units top the rest. The SD40-2 in freight-bonnet was CLEAN. All 3 of the engines in its lashup were Santa Fe, too. The B40-8W in the middle was a Santa Fe exclusive model.
Great start with Illinois Terminal descending the Curve. Next, grabbing a bit it of the Switching at Paradise. Marinette & Tomahawk and Oregon & N. Western Railroad Boxcars. Finally BNSF 1706 at Rochelle and then Santa Fe (BNSF) 1755 at Burlington - which I thought looked very smart, thanks VRF.
#1~What is sticking out of the water at 5:06 that the tree gets hung up on? #2~ What is the purpose of them riding on top at 6:15? If you can answer these two questions I will send you a pizza.
There are too many unknowns for a precise answer, but assuming that it is something like 130 pound rail (130 pounds per yard), and each rail is a quarter mile long, and there are 54 individual rails, just the rails come to over 3 million pounds, but all that is just a guesstimate.
Each length of rail weighs in at around 17,000 pounds. Multiply that by the number of rails. The flatcars with racks weigh 61,000 pounds. The flats on either end weigh approx. 78,000. You do the math.
16:55 We see that stuff quite often here on VRF. Rumors going GE, Siemens and others having received large orders for shield generators from companies somehow associated to Sen. Palpatine.
It's BLAZING HOT 🥵 where I'm at. I was walking my dog outside and briefly looked at the title of the video. I read it too fast and thought it said; *"PANICS, DRIVES INTO ONCOMING TRAIN!!!"* 🚂🤔😳🙂

Excellent pack
Bella Vista, top of the line in sleekness and elegance. I'd love to take a ride on it.
Sure is cool seeing more and more cabooses being used.
Now that is my idea of a private car, a platform on the back and an observation area on the top.
Aww...the cute little nope rope was just waving hello 😂🐍

Correction...two little nope ropes 🐍🐍
Snakes are so cute

4:53 I'm a little disappointed I didn't hear the "Doink" sound effect. 😁

Who Loves Pepsi-Cola ? 👍🙏
I like RC Cola also!
Diet / Sugar Free Pepsi for me 👍
I do!
I'm surprised that a modern locomotive would have an actual bell. I'd thought they now all had a computer-generated tone pretending to be bell.

That's a lot of military vehicles...
it was near the trashcan
Horseshoe curve🐎 ,over powdered persission-based minded Railroading at it's finest 😮😂😂.
I guess Austell has its fair share of Darwin’s!
And as fast as the trains go through there it's pretty scary
Snakes!? I hate snakes!
Indy
Not including the locomotive, 2:00 Can someone tell me the weight of this ribbon rail train? John

Hello
1st
Stepping out at the right side of the cab that must be the engineer right not at his station is really a dumb maneuver
That was the conductor stepping out to wave at his wife and the cam.
Lot's of action and cool 😎 power, the Railroads are the lifeline to the Nation!🇺🇲🛤🚂
