    Railfanning the Delaware & Hudson Volume 6 begins the three-part series on the last two years of the Penn Division as it was known and the subsequent transition to the former Delaware, Lackawanna & Western line from Binghamton to the Lackawanna Valley
    Volume 6 covers operations from West Carbondale up over Ararat Mountain to Lanesboro and beyond from April 1979 to March 1980 from the films of David Deyo
    Highlights include the Bethlehem Steel and Sea-Land “Landbridge” trains, as well as mixed freights from Oneonta to Hudson, NE-84 and NE-87 and combined trains.
    Featured landmarks include the Starucca Viaduct and Starucca Hi Iron Trestle
    Narrated with commentary by Mike Bednar COLOR APPROXIMATELY 76 MINUTES RUN TIME

      The previous clips from Dave Deyo's collection are no longer on RUclips. I should say should not be on RUclips as I purchased the collection and copyrights from Sam Botts and he removed what he had on RUclips.

    It's nice to see the old Buck's Falls trestle. In 1972 I climbed across the bottom braces to get to the trail of our Scout camp on the side hill. Cold, cold night... In the summertime it was wonderful, you could hear the trains coming up the mountain for miles before they crossed the trestle. The crews would toss crossing flares off the trestle for us to see. I went back to see it several years ago to find it was no longer there, very sad....

      Not sure what trestle you are referring to. In this preview, there is only the Starucca high iron trestle and the Starucca Viaduct.
