I'm surprised you didn't compare the collar to Centipede, because it's just an MDEF Centipede. I think people are sleeping on the cannon, on account of it being an MATK Kamura and the conditional is on the offense part, which makes climbing out of the HP hole easier than Kamura does if you need to just patch up defenses quickly. This is the crossover I wanted more than any other. Imagine the possibilities. Interceptor Red and Shadow Yuffie. Setzer Cid. Edgar's crossbow for Lucia and Chainsaw for Barret
Both going straight on the wishlist maybe the later cards during the collab(?). FF6 might finally force me to put my hand much deeper into my pocket. Only just got back up to 60k off the back of the anniversary and I came so so close to dumping that into Angeal for the Guild Battle.
This banner is really strong. I feel okay skipping, because with having Silver Collar even at OB6 (where I have it now), it’s not even remotely difficult to hit like 65 points in boost heal. As for the buff/debuff, I have canyon duds, and I think about Matt with his Centipede - I never had an issue with buff duration on him, and he doesn’t have a buff/debuff outfit. So, I’m okay not having this outfit on Red for those reasons. That being said, the outfit may as well say, “this is what Red does,” because it really is. I’m also saving up for the FF6 collab. I have over 500 parts for Cloud, and I’m ready for a new Sephiroth costume. I’m hoping it’s some kind of mix of buff/debuff extension and both attack types. That would really, really make the outfit shine anywhere. But, let’s see what they give us :) Welcome back!
Thank you! I am sooooo ready for this collab. I think they are typically better than anni, content-wise. I am shocked that we didn't get more halloween costumes, but I'm okay with the collab instead!
@@Nitelight9 I hear you. At the risk of sounding defeatist, I’m only cautiously optimistic about them giving us a fight that reminds of the Black Waltzes way back at the start of the game. But man, that would make me so happy. I would find a way to make a video probably.
But yeah I pulled til costume. It’ll be worth 400 points in guild battle the next couple months and I’m never skipping a costume again because of how they do this 😂. Barrett weapon is going on wishlist as soon as it gets added - these non-limited kamura-likes are sweet good to see an matk one now. And an mdef-centipede is nice to see too but unfortunate that red isn’t really a main healer for… anyone? Beuller? 😂
Yeahhhh, I was REALLY hoping the weapons would be switched. I have over 600 weapon parts for red, so I've been waiting for his next show-stopper weapon to come. Barret is def getting his come up though. He's like main tier worthy with so few weapons!
@@Nitelight9 only thing I don’t like about the barret weapon is no cure all slot , they been leaving that off of the non-limited kamura likes- so you still gotta use micro laser to make him a healer which kinda makes its c ability pointless. But it’s great to pair with electro ⚡️ or shark 🦈 for support
I think red’s weapon is more closely compared to Matt’s centipede than core defender even though one is magic defense and the other is physical defense and centipede has been quite a good weapon. Not pulling, but I’ll add red’s weapon to my wishlist cuz I think in combination with silver collar main hand it will be great. At both ob10 level 120 that would be level 8 heal between them. Might not even need a healing subweapon at that point.
