Basically, the Saturn version Is an upgraded version of the original released in genesis. I Personally consider this Is the true final version and the genesis version was just a kind of prototype or something else.

@@amauryrubio3135 I think that original is better because the music fit the theme. It felt like you were lost in time and space, it did feel really good.
I forgot that every version of 3D blast had different music tracks and story. I had this on the Saturn and sad that they went with the Genesis version on Sonic mega collection.
I actually think this game isn’t that bad, for an isometric platformer it’s ok, for a sonic game it’s mediocre, graphically it’s quite the novelty on the Genesis, and the game runs like butter on the Saturn!
Usually when you see something like that it means it's like the wife of one of the team members who understood the concept of 60+ hour work weeks and showed up occasionally to bring people coffee. Occasionally it refers to their pets, though, or an in-office pet, but it's not like an actual "position" so much as the team's thankful someone was helping to keep them sane during crunch time.

The background in the genisis looks like a void or space
It's like your between dimensions which is why we like that version of the fight more (along with the better theme)
