  • On Oct 4th 2017 I had a Rectocele Repair along with correcting damage to my rectum due to a major prolapse of my colon. I had 18 inches of my colon removed June 19th 2017. This is the last surgery to correct more of the damage done.
This journey first started when I was diagnosed with Pelvic Congestion Syndrome in Dec 2014 which then to my hysterectomy in April 2016 when to help with chronic pain. It eventually lead me down this path to further corrective surgeries.

THANK you so much for your honesty. I am going for surgery sometime soon and I would rather know what I am headed for than not. Will go back to see your other vids before this. I am a tough person too so if you are suffering, then I know I will need a LOT of distraction.

Thank you for sharing this. Can you give idea of when you stopped bleeding and when stitches were gone. Can you give an update to how you are doing now. Thanks

Hello, thank you for sharing your experience. So my question is, are you able to have a normal bm now? I had my first child at 16 and my rectocele is starting to balloon into my vagina it is very mentally distressing. My main question is how women are doing after their surgery. Thank you!

I have just had an hysterectomy 6 weeks ago.
and ended up with compacted bowels and ended up at hospital then not being to urinate I went to accident and emergency who told me I was starting with spesis.. I was put on drip antibiotics and cafetor.. the moral of the story is.. what they don't tell you is that taking your womb actually impacts yoir pelvic floor which will not have helped you or me.. I'm now really as I had alot of problems with my bowels after, things are alot better 6 weeks after although it does feel slightly different and I'm scared this this will happen to me... I would never had the hysterectomy( I had a fribriod) but would have tried other options the doctor never discussed any side effects with me like the impact on the pelvic flooring muscles being weaker. What other symptoms do you get with this ?
