I’m so glad that you were given this dog. It’s not an unusual story. You needed him more than he needed you. He’s already a great dog; he has made you a better person. Yep, we don’t deserve dogs-or animals for that matter. Thankful to the previous owners for their kindness. Hopefully they found another dog and so two dogs get forever homes. Sounds win-win to me.
Sounds pretty unusual to me? Maybe not the dog making him a better person part, but the rest of the story is!! Also, I can't figure out if your for or against humans having dogs? You said we don't deserve them. Which I disagree with. Some humans do, and some dont. In some cases, dogs and humans deserve eachother, but in all cases dogs deserve humans! They are domesticated animals! Perhaps you mean if we could go back in time and never make them domesticated, or make breeds? Idk, but in this present time dogs deserve humans because we made them to need us, and I believe you may feel this way as well because at the end of your comment you said 2 dogs getting forever homes was a win-win. I agree!
Y'all need to chill lol humans are fine with out dogs. It's a mutual relationship, period. Edit: I had to come back to this. Your comment bothered me so much..especially since this many people are liking it. Dogs NEED us just as much as we WANT them. The quality of life they live without us is equal to a bum(homeless person) that we pass by on the street. However our life doesn't change at all without them. Sure we may feel like we're "missing" something but will still continue to push forward in life. There's a reason a dog waits for you by the door when you get home because he/she knows what you've done for their life and they love you/have your back.
i LOVE THIS. i JUST GOT A DOG THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY A DAUGHTER who said when she saw the pup she knew it was my dog. When I met her, it was instant and how she has changed my life and view of it. I am retired, and disabled and am was not liking my life much. Now everything has changed for me much like this young man. Thanks for sharing
You're lucky your daughter thought of your happiness with a pup who will be a companion. In only a few hrs a human and pup will bond forever. Much happiness to you both, I love dogs too :) Keep busy walking feeding and even cooking special treats and biscuits lol. Once you get her shots he'll grow nice and healthy with you. Congrats!
God be with you! My brother was brought low by a stroke & heart failure. Two rescue doggies brought him back from the edge. He lived a full decade past what the doctors expected, re-learned guitar & painting. I credit those two little love messengers from God. They really made him laugh and smile.
God bless you Roxie. I am disabled too and know how you feel, so it especially warms my heart to know you have found solace and happiness with your pup. 👍🏼❤️
God sent that man an angel who taught him how to love. And he is blessed because he listened and learned. That is the model for all humanity - regardless from where the lesson comes.
I got my Sparky in December 2018. He was 11 years old. We enjoyed the greatest 920 days of our lives. He passed 6/21/2021 at 6:21 pm. I miss him so much. I will always love him.
I'm glad you notice that as well! There are souls inside all creatures! There's a great documentary about it came Why Dogs Smile and Chimpanzees Cry that goes into it in greater depth. Well worth the watch, if to can get a hold of it. Maybe at a library? It's no longer in "print".
I dont know why I watch these Dodo videos. I always end up crying, whether at the gym or work or at home. I guess they just touch my heart and the love spills out of me in tears. 🥰🌞
@Carl Ferrigno Isnt that beautiful about love? It has no limits, does not quantifiably max out, has no boundaries and it doesnt "run out". There's more then enough love to go around whether its 14 or 4. Love never ends. 💓🕊
I don't think he realizes he is not human. He really thinks he can speak. He is too adorable. He is like 'put the damn guitar down, can u c im here!!!😃
It's a bond, for sure: you can't fake this stuff!! And I disagree with Bluebird...this would get annoying for most people. The man clearly has an ear for that sound :-P
Anyone watching this who has never lost a furbaby will now know why we grieve so much after they leave us. They aren't " just a dog, cat, etc.." They are our best friend, companion, our everything. So please be kind and offer us compassion and not jokes. Thank you.
@Keri Hayes: For 15 years I had the privilege of being caretaker for the best dog that ever owned me. My sweet Lab Kizzy & I went everywhere together. She even went to work with me everyday. When I retired we traveled through Mexico & all over the States in her pickup and camper. Lost her to old age in 2014. Have a new fur buddy now, Butler's a 150lb Lab/Pit mix. Still.... Mr. Bojangles was right, after 20 years I'll still grieve for my sweet old girl.
I had to put my 15 year old pittie, Ollie, to sleep two weeks ago. He had neurological conditions from being old and just couldn’t walk anymore. His hind legs just gave out, over time. You are so right about your comment. I had that dog in my household almost as long as my children, before they grew up and moved out.
People naturally empathize more with animals than other human beings, there’s a number of academic articles on the subject and I think it’s totally justified
@@ericfelds6291Some people. We ain’t all in the dog(not animal) loving business because the same people that love dogs and treat them like family are the ones that will totally freak out if they saw say a tarantula or even a rat. Its dogs they love not animals

I hope they've found another dog in need of a 'forever home' (God knows, there's enough of them around)..and that they are as happy as you two obviously are!
Dude stole someone's dog and now enjoys all the benefits of years of hard work and effort someone else put into training it and then make a you tube video to boast and profit from it? To me, that's the ultimate in selfish scum-baggery there is, and the exact opposite of what he professes to learn from this whole experience. He learned nothing! except maybe how to delude himself into thinking his actions are justified, meanwhile, another broken heart in his wake so that he can have what he thinks he wants or needs to make him happy without any regards for anyone else... Doubt he's ever been told no in his life...
TheK9Queen Yes everyone talking about this guy being so great but he put the adoption center and the adopting family on the spot after promising he wouldn't. I think the other family deserves the feature!
@@woodbbl I agree. He put them all in an uncomfortable position.... It wasn't respectful of him. He pretty much took someone else's dog... I would not do that to someone's family... He broke his promise then begged them... And of course its plastered on RUclips... I don't think the family really wanted to let this complete stranger have him... But they ended up feeling Obgligated to. Its like Some one getting in the middle of two people's relationship... He got in the middle. He only thought about himself. The right thing for him to have done was to return the dog for the family that had pretty much adopted him. He did put them on the spot. I'm sure this dog bonded with the other family the same way. He could have chosen the other dogs.
That can be a blessing and a curse. Fame, money, looks... all things that will attract people to you -- but not necessarily because they find *you* attractive.
Hope For the Planet - I agree, but I believe animals do have souls, going to heaven joining their beloved owners ( owners like me who are going to heaven, I’m a Christian) - I don’t think God would want us to be separated from all the animals we have loved & taken care of, do you? How do you know that's his gf? If a man doesn't have a reason to live or understand it he won't. People go decades in relationships with no love or know how to. I was married for 3 years before I realized how to love myself my kids and my husband.
We rescued a dox-bull, and he’s the most emotionally expressive creature I’ve ever met. It’s just so obvious when he’s annoyed and trying to get over it or when he’s disappointed. When he was a pup, he’d make different noises and watch our reaction or correction. He created his own language.
I have a chatty dog too. People think she's in pain or sad but she's just purely trying to communicate 😂 She's a really smart german shepherd mix. Turned 8 today.
And i have a cat the same way, he is very smart, example, when he doesn't want or like something, he makes a low noise and shakes his paw, like flicks it up and down. He is always talking. So it is not just dogs who do this. Certain animals are very smart.
My yorkie loves to sing too. She’ll sing on top of her lungs, have to be careful playing music she likes if it’s late, afraid the neighbours will believe I’m torturing her. She’s 8 too... ☺️
I've watched this video several times and never tire of it! It's a beautiful example of man's relationship with his dog. These two have a fantastic relationship which is to be envied. Good luck to them both.
I had a dog that talked like this and people actually asked what he was saying. I would say, "not sure i don't speak dog" he was really loved and we miss him a lot. Our baby before we had kids. Just writing this makes me cry and he passed 26 years ago. We're on our 4th dog since.
Frank Elezaj The kitty love of my life died 20 years ago and I still miss him enormously. Not every day, but deep inside where it sometimes feels like I’m being cut open. My last cat was given to me by a friend, so I’d known her her whole life, and from the experience of having this very old cat (she was 19 when she died) I’ve decided that the next time I’m able to adopt (I’m currently living in a no-pets apartment), I’m going to adopt old kitties. They’re so sweet and all they really need is an open lap and lots of kitty kisses.
What a gift to have those footprints embedded on your heart. I've got them too. I realized that because of those first paw prints, each set that comes after, the depth of my love and appreciation for what we share (and have shared) intensifies. ~ Greater to have loved and lost, then to have never loved at all.
Mr. Bigglesworth With very limited income and a pandemic hitting the county hard, moving is not really an option. I’ve lived here for three years and my rent is still the same as when I moved in. The last place I live (in SF, not where I am now), I had great landlords, but they raised my rent the allowable amount every year, which means that after seven years, I was paying $1,000/month more than I was when I moved in. I came to my current location for a job, I’m now retired, and I’ll never be able to afford to live in SF again, so staying put is my best plan.

Again, so sorry for the loss of your pets.
His voice box was probably damaged at some point in his past. God bless the guy who adopted him.
Not damaged enough 😬

I agree!
Christy Zesk she meant humans aren’t worthy of our dogs love, that’s all.
@@mysweet88 Right? It was pretty a simple and accurate comment.
Alot of truth to that.. All dogs go to heaven. 😉
i LOVE THIS. i JUST GOT A DOG THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY A DAUGHTER who said when she saw the pup she knew it was my dog. When I met her, it was instant and how she has changed my life and view of it. I am retired, and disabled and am was not liking my life much. Now everything has changed for me much like this young man.

Congrats!
That is so awesome!! Family is the best

Seems like he needed the dog more than the dog needed him but, in the end, they were meant for each other.... 😁❤️

Anyone watching this who has never lost a furbaby will now know why we grieve so much after they leave us. They aren't " just a dog, cat, etc.." They are our best friend, companion, our everything. So please be kind and offer us compassion and not jokes. Thank you.
Well said Keri. I lost my lil princess a year ago. It stil hurts like hell...

And that's what animals do, if we let them... They make us better humans.

And i have a cat the same way, he is very smart, example, when he doesn't want or like something, he makes a low noise and shakes his paw, like flicks it up and down. He is always talking. So it is not just dogs who do this. Certain animals are very smart.

The kitty love of my life died 20 years ago and I still miss him enormously.

With very limited income and a pandemic hitting the county hard, moving is not really an option.
