My first Frenchie did the "slothing" movement. We called it slo-mo. Out of nowhere, he would move very slowly, for no reason. It was both fascinating and bizarre to watch his movements. He was the love of my life (his photo is my avatar).
What they’re calling ‘slothing’ is really common in Bull Terriers. Some people call it ‘trancing’ because they space out and go to another place while doing it. Ours used to creep under anything they could - curtains, plant fronds, anything low enough with fringes or tassels... Some would even pre-trance in that they’d slow down and shift into trance mode slightly before reaching the thing they’d decided to creepy under. Endlessly entertaining to watch.
That's very interesting, never seen my pittie do that... in fact, I've never seen her move in slomo except for when she's into her 'hunter' mode to get ready to go after rabbits... she looks more like a cat...

You made me smile with this comment. Bless you and yours ❤️
I love when dog parents change their lives to accommodate the happiness of their fur babies 🥰
Yeeess😭🥰
'fur babies' is the single most cringe-inducing thing someone can say
Oscar is absolutely adorable. Thank you for adopting him and giving him his best life ever. ❤️
He’s adorable and looks like a giant seal
The “slothing”…oh my heart. 😍
So inspiring that there are still beautiful people left in this world that will rescue and completely love these precious pups. Thank you for sharing. 💝
My first Frenchie did the "slothing" movement. We called it slo-mo. Out of nowhere, he would move very slowly, for no reason. It was both fascinating and bizarre to watch his movements. He was the love of my life (his photo is my avatar).
He looked absolutely precious, what a lovely baby♥️
did he go under things at the same time?
He's got the most adorable face I've ever seen and his little pounce that he does is so cute he's a cutie ❤ bless you for rescuing him!
Never seen a dog do this and yet, tons of videos showing dogs doing this. Weird.
He looks like such a sweet boy. I love seeing people who care so much about their pets they go above and beyond
I totally agree with you
What a precious baby. The kindness and love of some humans gives me hope against all the evil and negligence I see and experience so often from them.
He's petting himself! Adorable!
Thank you for giving him his forever home and for letting his inner sloth shine bright! 💜
Had a Viszla for 14 years and she was obsessed with "Slothing" under curtains, towels etc. She was trance-like when she did it.
DONT CROP YOUR DOGS EARS
Especially if you cant/won't take care of them!!!
Glad this pooch found a great home 💝💝
There's idiots who'll do it with household scissors. Some people shouldn't be allowed dogs, but you can't always tell proactively.
Yeah the same vets can crop the ears 😞
@@JoseGuzman-zt8fc Vets usually have a better idea of the breed conformation standards/styles in countries where cropping is still practiced, never mind painkillers, and better and more sanitary instruments.
@@corgiw7281 I'm not against it because I want my pitbull to get his ears crop but at the same time i feel guilty bro
@@JoseGuzman-zt8fc do not do it. It's the most excruciating, painful thing and it opens them up to severe ear infections. Stop and think about the welfare of your dog dude and don't be so cruel.
Thank you so much for being there for him & taking him in!
He is so adorable! He's a teddy bear in disguise! We need more people like you two to help animals that are in need of a family and love. Rescues organizations are our angels.
I am tickled myself with his slothing fixation! He’s so cute!!!
Heyy Maa
What a sweetie! He is so lucky to have such great people looking after him. No wonder he is so happy.
Adorable seal pup with four legs. Stories like this just make me grateful there are people like this who do everything they can to make a animal feel safe and loved.❤❤
Jeez! That toothy smile! What a lovely, charming boy.
hes that special hes personality shines even through my 2 inch phone screen, a real good Boi
Slothing! That is when I hit thumbs up and added this to my "Amazing Animal Personalities" playlist. That is so awesome to watch, so unique. I feel like it has something to do with his ear situation, giving him stimulation he lost. Amazing cool dog and great parents as well.
Same!
I watch his show every saturday and bought the book ruclips.net/user/postUgkxGQVgV21bQ7B9b9duQ1ByImyT9xHbjOKq because i like his method. He's very talktative in the book about his dog training experiences with several different breeds over the years. When he does get to the training chapters, you need to read more slowly, take mental or written notes and try to apply his advice to your pet. That's where i'm at now. Another review is in order aftet i've trained my blue mountain shepherd with brandon mcmillan's method.
Slothing. Ha, perfect term for that slow movement! Bless you, lil Oscar! 🙏💌🐕🤗
Slothing champion of the world... What a magnificent pup.
He's beautiful thank you for taking him in
The slothing is actually called Trancing. My Lab did that also. Read up on it. It’s very soothing and relaxing for them. 😊
Why would anyone dislike this video???!!!! I’m confused as a badly treated and ill dog found his happiness in his forever home.
They are jealous that they did not adopt Oscar
Yes, I find it truly amazing too. There always has to be some random guy who dislikes for no apparent reason.
Kinda like when people throw a living thing in a deep well ,....and then say , oh well im now gonna rescue it , so I can be a hero Celebrity look! at me lol! Or throwing it in a deep well , and saying well, .... looks like we're gonna be forced to euthanize it , ...darn ! Lol....its all the same thing, humans do it, and I don't get it or understand it at all, lol!
Kind of like trolls. Miserable idiots
OMG!! My pity used to do what you call "slothing". She would especially love it when we set up the Christmas tree. She was so good not to do it when there were ornaments on it. But before and after Christmas she absolutely took advantage of the empty branches. She had skin allergies all her life that eventually was her doing in. We had to say goodbye to her last November. I still miss my best friend every day. 💔
he may be deaf, but that won't stop him from enjoying life, quite wholesome!
He may be deaf, but he hears their love , loud and clear. No hearing aid needed as, Oscars owners - hearts and souls - are his hearing aids :-))
He's so precious. This would needs more people like this. 💕
Oscar has to be one of the most adorable Pitties I've ever seen, I love him, God bless you for giving him a loving home, he looks so happy. I've never seen a dog do that slothing thing and I've been around dogs all my life, it's hilarious. Love and blessings to you all and may Oscar have a long and happy life.xx
Wait isnt Oscar a rottweiler
@@norjankarami1388 neither hes an american bully
@@autograph415 Oh I see I knew he was a bit small to be a rottweiler.
Actually he is an American Bully. A tri blue American Bully to be exact
@@wyldvigilante someone knows!
Terrific story. So glad he is part of a loving family. Sloth away beautiful boy!
That “slothing” was hilarious! He’s so sweet and precious!
THANK YOU family for adopting this so sweet & sensible potato!!! It makes me happy to know he's now in a loving pawever home. Also a big THANK YOU to everyone who rescued & helped him before he came to your kind family.
Have many happy & healthy years ahead with your animals❣🐾❣🐾❣🐾❣🐾
"Slothing" is absolutely perfect for that move! Hes wonderful! 🤎💜💙
I had a dog that would go “slothing” under furniture but I never knew what she was trying to achieve. That’s hilarious! I’m glad I now know what she was doing!
Lol, yes, we never know what our silly pets are trying to achieve, but it's entertaining and educational.
I've had such a rough day today and that took me out of it for 3 minutes, what a beautiful boy!
That’s great to hear. I love to start my days watching these videos. Makes me happy
I am SO HaPpY that he found you to love n adopt him! Thank you so much for growing him slothing spots throughout the house n yard! God bless you all❤🙏🏻🐾🤗
I'm so glad they not only adopted him but also had the means to take care of his medical issues!! It's hard to afford a pup (esp one that is constantly in and out of vet offices/animal shelters). They gave him another shot at life, and he is truly living!!! God bless y'all, amazing owners & adorable af doggo 🥰🥰❤❤
Wish there was a way to get it's hearing back. Otherwise it seems like this good boy is having a blast of a life.
What an amazing group of animals and people.
People are the cruelest creatures on earth , don’t understand how you can be so mean to animals ..So happy for Oscar that he met such kind people very few left ! RESPECT AND LOVE
Had me in the first half not gonna lie
Huh
Yes h
Humans are the cruelest and the sweetest. The dumbest and the smartest. The most peaceful and the most violent. Don’t give up on humanity
We're also the smartest, it's a packet. Take it or leave it.
The “slothing” is the cutest thing ever!
What great people. They did so much just to help get him healthy then they embrace his little quirk. Setting up all those "slothing" spots just for him is such a sweet thing to do. Let min do what he enjoys.
When I saw him "slothing" for the first time I was like "omg ur dog is stimming....."
Such a supportive amazing family for an amazing boy :]
Same.
AWWW me too
Holy shit I just looked up stimming and realize I totally have it
I know he got his forever home and it's a happy ending but I've still got tears in my eyes! I lost my 6yr old American bulldog Koda to cancer just a couple of months ago, I miss her sooo much. She was deaf and we taught her sign language which she picked up really quickly. I think there's times where it can be better than confusing dogs by saying alot of words/orders to them.
I'm so sorry that you lost your best friend. God made our hearts able to love more than 1 best friend. I lost my bff Isabella, my grandson got her for me. But sadly I live in a nursing home , we can't have pets.
Seriously endearing. How lovely that the right people got him!
He is gorgeous! Thank you for your big hearts. Love.
Thank you for saving Oscar. He is more than wonderful, beyond words. He is a big ❤ full of LOVE. THANK YOU, GOD BLESS YOU, THANK YOU FOR LOVING OSCAR ✝️🐕😀🐕😀💑
Beautiful, No one could have said it better!😍👍
He's beyond adorable. I am so glad you gave him a wonderful home and gives him unmeasurable love....along with your other fur babies
I could watch him run up the stairs all day long! Plus that smile just melted my heart.
Once again wonderful caring loving people, Thankyou millions xx
OMG. He looks exactly like our 15yr old boy Bruizer, who just past over the winter. Enjoy him, Love, Peace and Happiness.
Thank you for rescuing him, what a jem. His face when Dad is hugging him says it all.
He's an ASMR dog. Slothing is just seeking out tingles.
Glad to know there's still good people out there. We need more people like for all walks of life and for other humans as well regardless of color, religion or lack of, and economic status.
Oscar’s “slothing” is the cutest most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen❤️❤️❤️
Omg I'm crying this is so precious, what a sweet boy 😭
Well, this is the first one of these that's got me. I am now going to have to follow his Instagram. He is precious.
To give this dog the life that he has now... these people are AWESOME!!! 🐾❤
Yes they are@
OMG.. I am cry laughing at how ridiculously adorable Oscar's "slothing" is.. and just how beautifully loving his owners are ❤️❤️
"Slothing" because he is so starved for gentle touch. Instead of a scratching post, he is looking for a tickle place.
I don’t think that is necessary true. He appears to receive plenty of love and affection. I think he just likes it - kind of like how we humans like the sensation of having our backs lightly tickled. (I used to do that for my daughter when putting her to bed.)
That is such a cool story. I really love that you have set up "slothing" stations. So unique and you are creating opportunities for more access to joy in his life. That is an ultimate show of love. Congratulations to all of you for representing some of the best qualities humans can possess. And, thank you for sharing.
Omg my mastiff did the 🦥 under the bushes and he loves flowers 🌺 to tickle his face and back !!! So so happy that they gave him a chance!!
These people are from Heaven ! Imagine if everyone had a heart like these Dudes ??! What a great family Oscar scored !!
If only they did... will never understand people that mistreat animals
@@ttfl_snake1566
Thank God we don't lol.
We need people willing to kill animals for food and not give a damn.
@@lolicongang.4974 what the fuck is wrong with you the guy is talking about dogs being abused and put in kill shelters for no good reason
@@TheTallOne890
And the kill shelter.
So what just put the dog out and get a healthy one.
@@lolicongang.4974 Jesus you are dumb aren't you you don't just put a perfectly healthy dog into a kill shelter, the big reason most dog breeds are in kill shelters is because their breed is "dangerous" and the people don't want to care for the dog anymore even if other then food the dog is perfectly healthy and you don't just kill your dog and get a new one like it's a broken toy that animal was in your family and whether or not you liked it it still had emotions and could feel pain and loss just like a human
dogs: Oscar, ramona, normal names.
cat: yeah her name is sprite don't ask
😅 well it could be sprite as in the mythical creature… instead of the beverage. But then again lots of people name their pets after food (and I love it tbh).
My mother was quite similar in her naming skills. She named her two cats Charlie and Ramona. Then I named our next cat Cuddles for obvious reasons.
@@randybradley4151 whatever the name, I don’t care as long as they’re cared for.
You can look at this dog and he seems so happy. I wish people that are neglectful towards animals would learn to appreciate them . Glad you all gave him a good home .
He’s so cool! I love his smile and the slothing is hilarious. So glad he hit the forever home jackpot.
He's a very handsome dog! Him and his fur siblings and fur parents certainly hit the jackpot! 😃
He is so darn cute. May you two be blessed for giving him such a great home.
He's precious. I love everything about him.
Wow, You folks went above & beyond with this clown-ish sweetheart, thereby blessing yourselves as well as him. Great job!
