I have learned more from John about baking and cooking than I ever did from nasty, temperamental chefs when I went to culinary school! Thank you, John!
The editing from the fork mixing the egg wash to the brush was so smooth. Excellent editing and it's definitely something you've done many times! Thank you so much!!
Can’t wait to make one. I like that you score peaches before blanching. I can them and this will make it so much easier to slice. I think too that the later peaches are better as they’re easier to remove the pit. I’m 80 and baking about 60 years and I still get helpful hints while watching your videos! Mmm!
You're so amazing. When I'm looking for recipes, i try to see if you have it first 😂. And you're so easy to follow and so exciting too. G'day from Australia!
I love watching you cook and the way you go step by step is very helpful!! I have your cookbooks and you inspired me to get onto cooking!! Thank you so much!
Love your recipes and always look at to your recipes. In case no one has already said it, there are two kinds of peaches. Freestone where the pit comes from and cling where it doesn't. I always try to buy freestone for obvious reasons but stores never know what type they are selling.
perfect timing! the Peach Truck just came through CT so we picked up a couple of boxes, and now we have a ton of gorgeous peaches to use up. I suggested a peach pie, and the interwebs heard and delivered you! :)
Hi John!! This peach 🍑 pie looks (and I bet….tastes!!) absolutely showstoppingly beautiful. I love delicious beautifully ripe peaches, you can’t beat them. I remember my daughter and I going out to the county (Leamington Ontario) specifically for peaches, we ate an entire basket of them on our 1hour drive home…such deliciousness and we were such little 🐷 Anyhow I love making peach pie, my recipe is pretty much the same, candy beat it. As per usual, many thanks for sharing your expertise and precious time with us, I always love watching and listening, you make me feel as if I am beside you in the kitchen! Have a a great weekend. It’s a holiday weekend here in Canada so it’s great!!! Enjoy! 🍑 Tina 🍑
Hi John. I just tried your peach pie and it was very very delicious! I used to use a recipe from Betty Crocker but your recipe beats hers hands down! My brother and I watch you all the time. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe with all of us! I’m going to have to give it to my boyfriend I know he will love it as much as we do. You are so handsome John and you have a very handsome family! May God bless you always and thanks for doing what you do!! Alicia
Thanks for the aluminum foil hack! I love making fruit pies but always hated covering the edge of the crust with a "rim" of foil.........the bane of my existence!
I am from the south, and the best way to eat a ripe, in season peach is standing over the sink...to catch the juice!! We always buy enough to eat, bake with and freeze!
Making a fresh peach pie in the mid of summer when the heat feels like an oven is so freaking 5exy! I'm going to get 3lbs of peaches and start my own movie in my kitchen... 😂
I'm a new viewer who has tried making your blueberry and chocolate scones so far. They came out amazing and I'm a subscriber now! I have a couple peach trees in my yard and was looking for something to do with them. This would be great, thanks!
Hi John. I have made several of your recipes and love them all. Today I am making the peach pie and was wondering if I could freeze it. If so, what would the baking instructions be? I'm assuming that will change.
LOVE peach 🍑 pie!! Thanks, John! I’ll be making this asap. I live in Massachusetts so I’m afraid I have to wait a while before they’re ready at our local farm stand. Those are the sweetest. Last year we had no peaches at all due to the weather. Did you?
Love your videos, I have made a lot of your recipes. One question, what size pie pan do you use? Im using my mother in laws and she has 3 very different sized pie pans. One is deep and one is very shallow.
You need to make sure you get Freestone peaches! Some come off easily, and others do not... as you discovered. 😉 I live in Georgia. Know that South Carolina peaches are tastier. ❤
I’ve been watching your lemon recipes looking for a cheesy lemon cream to go on donuts. Leaving comment on this video so you’re more likely to see it. I’ve tried posset and lemon butter but they’re not quite what I’m looking for. Any recommendations?
I have learned more from John about baking and cooking than I ever did from nasty, temperamental chefs when I went to culinary school! Thank you, John!

I love adding ground cloves or pumpkin pie spice to peach desserts. Really amps up the peach flavor.
Peach anything! There is nothing better than a fresh, ripe peach.😋 😊❤
You have read my mind with the peach pie recipe. Thank youuuuu! Can’t wait to try!

Depends on the type of peach. Cling peaches do just that. They cling to the stone
Just ordered your new cookbook. I love the 1st. Thanks for creating and sharing your recipes. I can't wait to see it.
OMG-looks sooo good!
Que espetáculo de torta. Amei 🇧🇷

Hi! I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on a lemon blueberry loaf!

A potato peeler works really well, takes a minimal amount of flesh and really fast, try it!

@@virginiadaneke2362 That's a food group in my family!!

All peaches are delicious, but Chambersburg peaches from Pennsylvania are super delicious!
Making a fresh peach pie in the mid of summer when the heat feels like an oven is so freaking 5exy! I'm going to get 3lbs of peaches and start my own movie in my kitchen... 😂
I'm not a big fan of cooked fruit and don't eat pies often, but this does looks good and beautiful.
I'm a new viewer who has tried making your blueberry and chocolate scones so far. They came out amazing and I'm a subscriber now! I have a couple peach trees in my yard and was looking for something to do with them. This would be great, thanks!
SO lucky to have those trees! Welcome tot he channel!!!
Give his pastry cream, lemon curd, and Italian merengue buttercream frosting a try. My family thinks I’ve become a gourmet chef, but it’s all John!
Hi John. I have made several of your recipes and love them all. Today I am making the peach pie and was wondering if I could freeze it. If so, what would the baking instructions be? I'm assuming that will change.

happy baking!
Nice.
What a wonderful pie, I could do next but my cooker can only go up to 210 degree(C). But can i still do it? Or a need a better cooker?
I miss good peaches. They're hard to come by here because all the stores refrigerate them and ruin them. 😏
LOVE peach 🍑 pie!! Thanks, John! I’ll be making this asap. I live in Massachusetts so I’m afraid I have to wait a while before they’re ready at our local farm stand. Those are the sweetest. Last year we had no peaches at all due to the weather. Did you?

Did you say peach caprese?!?! Where do I find this recipe?!?😍
What’s better peach pie or peach cobbler!?! Hahaha I need to make one asap
add some fresh basil leaves to your peach pie. it brings it to a whole new level of yum.
There’s a little town outside Austin called Fredericksburg from Fredericksburg to Johnson city the best peach orchards the most amazing peaches.
That foil tent looks so much easier than trying to cover the edge with a strip of foil, which never works.
So fun
I used to think i was the last MALE chef alive that still made peach pies. I must be wrong.
Incorrect! You say that it’ll last 4 days in the fridge…….you haven’t met my family 😂😂😂
HELPPP mine is full off big backssss😭😭😭
Omg😂😂😂😂😂😂
I am literally going to a Peach Fest at a local farm tomorrow 🍑
I like how after the pie crust cracked he laughed quietly and it sounded so unhinged 😂
