I was diagnosed with hypersensitivity pneumonitis when I was in my early 20's. It really was terrifying being misdiagnosed then not fining the diagnosis until I was hospitalized for more than 3 days until a specialist figured it out and was there for 7days until I was well enough yo cone home. Determined it was black mold we didn't know we had from my landlords shoes from the basement.
That’s crazy!! I’m sorry you went through that, but so glad you got a proper diagnosis in the end. Moldy landlord shoes, wow!! I wish you a long healthy life 😁
Yeah this is really weird, I can't believe it's that rare. I was allergic to everything as a kid and my parents quickly realized it was silly to get me a down comforter. Maybe it's different because I have more of a topical reaction and not respiratory? I dunno, maybe we should just stop plucking birds to stuff our blankets.
@liscatcat8756 stop reading the comments and listen to the story. What are you doing reading comments before you hear the story and then complaining they spoiled the story for you? Then proceed to call them selfish? That's what the comments are for. For people to comment on the story. Duh!

It drives me crazy when the people in the stories don't call the ambulance. They call the hospital, the neighbors, the doctor's office that was closed for a long weekend...😂 Gahhhh!
Well I mean, the state of their medical emergency not withstanding, they’re most likely filled with dread at the prospect of a 20 min ambulance ride, give or take, costing them thousands of dollars. Someone living anywhere near paycheck to paycheck, if they don’t have insurance or if ambulance rides aren’t covered, just an ambulance ride across town can literally wipe them out, and then some..
@jsmith3798 I'm a registered nurse, and I work in the ER. You are correct that is the main reason people don't call an ambulance. The second reason is they think they can get to the hospital faster.
not everyone can afford the ambulance fees 💀 some people are so poor that they'd rather suffer through it than pay disgusting amounts of money for the care they need.
Синтетические подушки безопаснее по санитарным нормам, а перьевые подушки ещё и очень неудобные. Они постоянно слеживаются, и, чем старше подушки, тем более каменными они становятся.
In the US people have to decide if they can afford the ambulance ride or if the insurance will cover it though. I had my partner come home from work to take me for an emergency because no way we'd be able to afford the ambulance AND treatment (and we have decent insurance). In the UK when I fell while pregnant that wasn't a concern - just called the ambo and after they checked me over they took me to A&E.
Another August story. I always drop this comment. Things seem to happen in August more than any other month. Mostly in Florida but not all of them. There are many other August stories on other channels too.
When my mom was a child in the 1920s, her mom would take apart the duvet and pillows, and wash and dry the feathers when they washed the bedding. Then she would restuff the comforter
Charlie has to be the dumbest rock in a box full of rocks. He didn't want to go back with his brothers to look for gold because of how dangerous it might be. Then as time goes on and the brothers and their friend don't return home and everyone is concerned, he insists they probably found gold and they're continuing to stay there, no need to worry. One year goes by and he insists there's nothing wrong, it's three of them out there, what can go wrong. Meanwhile, when he was out there with his two brothers and the boat capsized, he realized a lot can go wrong, so much so that he chose not to go back. So now that 2 years without them returning home passes it dawns on him maybe we should go look for them. So hard to believe.
Hold on. This guy’s doctor kept taking x rays and saying “Nothing is wrong” for that long before finally referring him to a specialist. And the specialist was a CHEST doctor he already knew of…only 30 mins away?! 🤦🏾♂️
Want to know what the first guy felt like? Go from sea level to Breckenridge Colorado. Acute mountain sickness is real. When I first moved up here I thought I was dying, for sure thought I was going to have a heart attack. My heart rate and blood pressure was through the roof while “resting” Glad they figured out it was feathers
Here's a theory about Nahanni Valley: The two brothers (of the original prospectors,) became so greedy they decided to keep all the gold for themselves and to themselves, without ever intending to sell or in any other way give up any of the gold. They decided to stay in the valley and watch over it to either scare away any potential prospector or outright killing them, if scare tactics failed. The first victim was their friend, thus the skeleton discovered farther apart. When the opportunity arose, they faked their own deaths, killing two random prospectors in the process. Left identifying items and removed their heads, so they could be identified as them. Later, the head removal became their m.o. There have been fewer incidents, probably after one of the brothers died sometime in the 1940s. Of course, this is just speculation, so don't take it too seriously.
Nope! The RCMP took the easy way out by labeling it as an accident. So the terror kept the valley safe long enough to preserve it until it could be declared a National Park. So Jorgenson must have accidently burned down his cabin and set himself on fire. At least according to the Mounties?
While a slice is set up to retrieve gold and it is pretty close to what you described it as looking like, that's pretty much the only things you got correct about that description of it and its use. Lol.
I had a feather and down doona, that's what we call duvets or comforter.. I had trouble breathing. Straight away I suspected the doona. Got rid of it and bought a woollen doona instead.
my husband was 34 and started having "heartburn" on Thursday. late that Sunday afternoon i found him on the bed gripping his chest, rolling back and forth moaning in pain. and *still* talking about "the heartburn". at this point i was fed up and called an ambulance. id been nagging him to go to a doctor since it started but he poo-pooed that idea. needless to say it wasnt heartburn. he was basically in denial, that is my opinion. he's lucky to have lived, truth be told.
My husband has an allergy to down as well. There is zero reason to use down in this day and age. I am amazed that hotels and upscale stores still push this on the public.

I remember reading into this, its funny how he jumped straight into native peoples attacking the brothers and decapitating them, the rcmp found absolutely no cut or bludgeon marks on the corpses and skeletal remains of the deceased. Thats why they ruled it death by natural causes. If its an intensional decapitation, its going to leave marks on the vertebrae, unless its done by a surgical expert with specific surgical tools. Sometimes the simple and most likely explanation is the correct one. They most likely just starved after getting hopelessly lost and suffering major paranoia.
Why did Philip get an EKG why would a doctor just assumed it was a medical situation where you need antibiotics rather than you know his heart which is the main reason why he couldn't breathe

Mr Ballen, please let people know to call 911 in a medical emergency, NOT the hospital.
Some of the stories may be from a pre 911 era. Prior to 911 you called the emergency service you needed directly. Police, fire ambulance
