These videos show exactly what these cameras can do. The review videos are ok but putting the cameras to work shows they are better than what most RUclipsr's who don't even own the cameras show. Nice!
Looks great, and I particularly like the shots at 2.52, 3.31 and 6.03. You mentioned the 24 Art and the Tamron 17-28 and 70-180 in your intro, but it seems like you used the Sigma 65 a lot too. Out of interest, do you think a 24-70 could have covered most of the photos you took in that range, or did you make a lot of use of the wider apertures of the primes?
I think the 1.4 aperture and 2.0 aperture really made those photos stand out. Probably for the more deep depth of field landscapes the 24-70 would have been sufficient though.
Hey Mitch, love the real usage of the camera man. You shoot both sony and canon but just as a suggestion because other viewers have agreed on this that there's not enough creatives that mingle with Nikon. Not saying to add it to your gear but there's room of subs to get from there too. You can probably rent the Nikon Z6 II or the Z8 that just came out that seems to be hot right now for a week and see how you like it
Loved the video! I'm planning a trip to hokkaido as well and going to buy an a7c to bring with me to take some videos. What lens do you think would be most suitable for it?
@@MitchLally That’s exciting! We have been to Korea 5 times, during autumn, winter and the beginning of spring. I look forward to see upcoming trips you share on YT and IG
Enjoyable, relaxing vid. “Cool” pics😊 despite challenging weather. Wish the lens info text had been larger, TBH - easier to see. How much exposure comp did you use to capture bright snow scenes? Next travel - suggest Viet Nam - ancient relics. Cheers!
Cool video with some great shots, but no one would call an a7IV a "minimalist" camera 😃 Its about as feature packed with every bell and whistle that you can get.
Why Sony a7iv? That cam has a reputation for overheating. Did u grab it because you needed a real handwarmer? Actually, I noticed it looked fairly warm there, no one seemed to be wearing gloves. You would not do that in Fairbanks, Alaska in the middle of January where I live. No gloves. Sorry, no fingers to shoot with afterwards. Tamron let you show their lens, even though u mentioned Sigma lenses. So it goes Sigma, sorry. I luved how u had a stack of photographers lined up like they were on some photo shoot in New York looking at the Empire State Building o rthe Brooklyn Bridge. Ha, ha, ha. Very funny video. 😎😎
More videos like these please! Perfect way to decompress and get inspired at the same time
Quality stuff bro! Loved the music and the shots. Very talented.

@@MitchLally well, your timing was excellent, haha.
This was epic bro. Well done

Cheers! I use full manual, no exp comp and just expose by eye.
Amazing pictures🙌🏾
Do you mind telling me which lens you're using shooting the talking head of this video? Thanks!
Sony 20mm 1.8
@@MitchLally Thank you!
this video relaxed me
Nice vid! Did you use a gimball?
I’d argue you love that Sigma 65mm as well!!
Yeah absolutely! I didn’t realise til after the intro I recorded how much I had used it!
Love your content man❤ I still recovering my lost ability in photography, need to stop take picture during covid before😢
I especially loved the portraits in this one holy smokes
how how did you stabilize the video footage? Look amazing!
Sony Catalyst Browse software
@ ty :)
Niiiiice dude. Love it.
Great Mitch, love your contents and the colors!. Do you use any gimbal when you record the videos?
Nope - just stabilise in post.
That Buddah statue looked MAGICAL!!!
You shot this on Canon? I'm looking at the a7IV for video and thought at first the video was shot on Sony.
All shot on the a7iv :)
@@MitchLally Ahhhh! Wonderful! Just as I had hoped. Some of the shots of your friends got me emotional. Great work!
When shooting video, do you use the 180 rule? Or just pump up the shutter speed?
I set the shutter to whatever gives me correct exposure :) don't care about accurate motion blur.
@@MitchLally hahaha nice! I do the same 😂
really liked this style of video :)
aye good times hey.. same time this year? haha
The shot at 06:57, incredible
I would love to see you go on an adventure in Iceland with Benjamin Hardman.
As someone who watched a lot of RUclips blah blah blah i can say that your video is a fresh air, there is way too much word in RUclips.
Thank you! I talk a lot in my other videos though! 😅
Utah 👀
We need to go back boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also photo at 03:54 is fire! 😮😮

I think you missed the point of the video which was to create minimalist compositions.
@@MitchLally Got it. I'll pay more attention and re-watch it!
come to kenya, for a safari

Go to Hawaii
Go to Newfoundland or Prince Edward Island 🐳
