Hey everyone! Today I have my second last travel vlog from Dan and I's roadtrip through Europe. We started in Gdansk, Poland and made our way through Poznan, Prague, Hallstatt, Lake Bled, Dolomites, Munich, Wroclaw and back to Gdansk. We didn't have much luck during our first couple of days in the Dolomites with stormy weather on the forecast for the foreseeable future on our weather apps. So we decided to head to South Tyroll and I am SO glad we did as I found some of my favourite viewpoints and photospots there. What a dream location!

I'm glad you clarified about the pronunciation of Dolomites, you made me question that I'd been saying it wrong my whole life and no-one told me ha. Awesome video as always, very jealous!

Thank you so much, that means a lot to me. I'm glad my videos can help you with photography! Dan and I plan out all the trips we do ourselves. I watch a lot of travel content and make lists for all the places I want to visit one day. When the list gets long enough for a specific location, then we will usually plan out a whole trip there and try and do everything there is to do in that area!

I would love to go there one day! The furthest south I've visited is Amalfi. But there are so many amazing places all over Italy, I am sure I will be back again soon!

Are you still using A7IV's as your main cameras? :)
I noticed you don’t use the lens hood , just curious how does that affect the image ?
The lens hood is usually used to stop lens flares and ghosting from happening during backlit images. I personally really love lens flares, etc in my photos so I tend to not use the lens hood. But in this case I didn't shoot many backlit images either, so it wasn't needed either way!

Any thoughts of ever taking on a product photographer? I can send my work from my 10x10 dark and moldy basement studio I've done if at all interested in expanding or helping a lost photographer. I've been told I'm world class by strangers and startups but still can't get enough work to do it full time. I think I could use exposure or I just suck, I don't really know
Also, I've won a few of online photo contests but it never helped me grow my business. I can also share those if interested in any way. I'm in the Midwest of the US

HI JULIA, DO YOU EXPERIENCE EXCESSIVE EYE STRAIN AFTER USING SONY A7IV ? MANY OF MY COLLEAGUES AND CLIENTS HAVE SAID THAT THEY EXPERIENCE A LOT OF EYE STRAIN AFTER USING OR WATCHING VIDEOS SHOT WITH CAMERAS LIKE A7IV, A7C,etc. THEY ALSO COMPLAIN ABOUT SWOLLEN AND PUFFY EYES DUE TO THE EYE STRAIN CAUSED BY THESE CAMERAS. ANY SIMILAR EXPERIENCE? CAN SONY ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM IF IT EXISTS?

Italy, but that is an area where even though it is considered Italy they actually consider themselves German, in fact the language they speak is mainly German and Italian secondly, and they have managed to obtain a certain political autonomy, with its own culture which is why the region has remained so beautiful, and is called the autonomous region of Trentino Alto Adige
Travelling Julia is the best. Also, shot every time she says Dolomitees.
