Oh man, ... every time I look your vids I'm thinkin' to myself: Why this danish guy has always THIS light ... oh my God, Mads ... incredible photos. It's not like you have days and days. You have one (maybe two) chance for every spot and every time you have fantastic light. I guess that's why the workshops are so expensive: you give a light-guarantee ... :-) ... I love the Dolomites since I was a little boy and my parents spended the holidays with me down there ... in my opinion: the most beautiful mountains in the world ...

you came to my beloved Dolomites ... you were lucky to find good weather, it often rains.
the orange color that the sun makes on the mountains is called "enrosadira" and is due to the particular rock of the Dolomites which reflects the sun's rays.

Amazing video, Mads. I'm in awe. I was in the Dolomites this summer, too. I even bumped into you on top of the Seceda, right by the blue flowers. But my shots, even though I'm quite happy with them, are nowhere even near the sheer awesomeness that yours are. Wow!
I went through the Dolomites this last July too. Absolutely breathtaking area and definitely had some of my best photos I’ve ever taken.

OMG Mads this is my favorite video of yours. Absolutely visually stunning, breathtaking beauty, as you said 100 times, EPIC. I am an absolute mountain fanatic and the Dolomite mountains are so different from my Canadian Rocky Mountains yet jaw dropping gorgeous in their own way. The scale of the mountains is enormous and I was in awe watching the visuals, I didn’t want it to end, I will be replaying this one again. Superbly done, you should be proud of the images they are beautiful.

@@MadsPeterIversen yes I saw it and that one is beautiful as well. my favorite photo is the last one with the sun reflecting on the mountains and the reflection of the chalet and mountains in the water. Truley epic as you would say. Loved the 2 videos and will watch them again.

OMG...so painful to watch your video...I went on a workshop to the Dolomites this past Sept/Oct and all of these places were comepletely socked in with clouds and fog for 8 days straight...after all of that strenuous hiking. BUT, with that said, it was an OUTSTANDING time, because you just cannot deny the sheer beauty of the Dolomites. Mads, loved your video .... beautifully done as always.

I recently visited the Dolomites for the first time, and it blews us away with how epic the peaks were, I hope to visit these beautiful peaks again in the future. Your video was epic, and some of the shots brought tears to my eyes

I've just spent an hour watching these 2 having been woken up early by the dogs. They're stunning, epic, gorgeous, all of the words you use. Trying to pick a favourite from all of the photos is impossible, can I have 2? The lone tree with sunrise and from video 1 the sun as it moved down the mountains that you said you'd captured before. Amazing stuff, thank you for sharing.

What a fantastic video, stunning location, I was on holiday at Lake Garda a few years ago and did a day trip into the Dolomites and was blown away with the views, would love to go back some day. I look forward to seeing part 2 and more brilliant photos.

I often give people a hard time about overusing words like "epic". But damn Mads, that word certainly applies to the Dolomites and to the images you've captured in this video! That area of the Alps has been on my bucket list for years. The spectacular images you've shown us here has bumped the Dolomites higher on the list. We'll done, sir!
