A good place to have a 360 view on the Dolomites, if you have not enough time, is the Lagazuoi Refuge, taking the cableway from the Falzatego Pass. It's almost central in the Dolomites area and from that place you can see all the most famous peaks. Perhaps, if you want to visit a part of the Dolomites less touristic, but very wild, you can visit the Dolomiti Friulane along the border between Veneto and Friuli regions. Here you can find the first declared "Wilderness area" in Europe.
Grazie Mille! We are headed there in a month and I was doing some research when I found your video. Thank you for the details and wow, what videography! We will be hitting these spots!
DOLOmiteS with 6 destinations that you have introduced are beautiful and attractive. The drone angle is so beautiful, I really like my friend's friend from Vietnam!
@@TwosomeTravellers usually I go to Corvara (not far from Ortisei, just over the Gardena Pass)...beautiful place and perfect location to go around the places I listed above.

"Sketchy..." so the part of Casini that you're running up you could fall off the steep side? I've seen so many photos/videos of that amazing place, and would love to see from that vantage point!
The part I run up is actually not as bad as it seems tbh. It also depends on your confidence levels. We saw many people take a slow walk with no issues ☺️
Great video fellas! I was contemplating between Dolomites and Azores, and now I'm decided! Thanks. May I ask when did you go? What time of the year? And did you have any issues with the weather?
Following the answer to this comment. Wondering what month as well though it seems like June by the looks of flowers/plants etc. We are doing this May 2022 (hopefully with Covid and all). Wondering weather issues and how many days to plan for in case of bad weather. Rasmus, have fun when you travel!
Hey Rasmus! Thanks so much for the support. Yes of course we visited during July/August time and the weather was awesome. It was warm in the day but still got cool in the evenings which was perfect for the van. It did get hotter as we moved through Tuscany, but with Dolomites in the North it was great. Have the best time, it is truly a magnificent sight!!
Hey! This was during the months of July/August time :) May would be a great month too and probably a bit cooler, although it wasn't too hot when we went. Have the best time!
@@TwosomeTravellers problem with July and August is the crowd of tourists you will find there....those two months are the peak of the holidays period for the Italians...there fore I would instead suggest to go on September, when the weather is still good and warm whereas people are back to work and school are back opened so few people around ....and prices are even better getting into a so-called low season. Then if you move further up you will start to see the colours of Autumn and that is a fantastic scenery in the Dolomiti....
@@ictfc1897 I took three holidays in the Dolomite/South Tyrol region, all in September when the weather was perfect, centering in different valleys (eg the Val Gardena) and then taking all the hikes we could from there. The whole area is stunning, and of course it's a must to circumnavigate the three peaks of Lavaredo. Why go there otherwise? Another suggestion for anybody : the Maritime Alps north of Nice. Great hiking and not too busy, plenty of accommodation in little tucked away villages.
Thank you so much for such a great informative video. I have a question, can you visit these villages/points if you dont have a rental car. Is there any public transport available?
Great clip guys, I noticed that you mentioned that drones are not allowed, but you have several drone segments in this clip. Is it just certain areas that do not allow them? Which areas in these 6 locations allow them? Thx for all you do !!
Ooo I’m not too sure, you can get buses to certain places but you would probably need to research on Google as we just went everywhere by car.
