I'm not a king of youtube comments but I just wanted to express how your simplicity, direct approach and the mood has mixed so well in this video. This was the first video of yours I just watched, immediately subscribed. Way to go my friend, good luck on your journey.
Great work! Many times in the video I said to myself... "Yes.. Yes I see it!"... and then you took the shot and it was always perfectly executed! Instant subscription.
I've been watching numerous video about street photography in Tokyo, good and bad. The conclusion is still the same, "Story is a king", and this one is a good one 😊.
My wife and I went to the same spot you were at to see the Tokyo tower. We were there at 6am and watched a monk ring the big bell. There was maybe 3 other people there, too, all locals. It was a great time.
This is such a nice video, I love both the photography and the videography too, the color grading and the pacing, the storytelling, and your thoughts process for the pictures, also the ambient sounds is definitely a nice touch. Thank you so much, I've learnt something from this video and enjoy the process of learning them!
Love this...I have the same lens for my A7iii and love the small profile and ease of this set up. Gorgeous and inspiring video - thank you for making it!
Beautiful shots and color grading 🤯 Also loved the thoughts you shared about photography. I too have learned to enjoy the little things around me and be grateful!

So beautiful pictures and video, good job! I love seeing your work :)
I'm looking to reignite my thirst for photography and you've given me some inspiration. Hopefully this time around I'll take more photos and videos of Tokyo.
Really nice shots. Going to Tokyo tomorrow with family. Hope I will have some alone time to shoot without boring everyone. Before they're up or when they go in shops, I will explore my surroundings with my camera. I also have an a7iv and a Sam 35. And a 24-200 and a 20 mm. Should be a good kit for travel. Wish i had your eye, though. Thanks for the great vid.
Great photo walk, I really enjoyed it. I’ve been to Japan a lot but it’s been nearly 5 years since I last went. Heading back in 2 weeks and all I’m taking is my RX1R II and an iphone, your video has got me excited for thus long overdue visit to this wonderful country.
Great work man! My main street setup is the A7iii + Samyang 35mm 1.8 and even though my lens is slightly larger, it's a pretty pleasant kit to carry around on long days.
Another wonderful video with great street photos. I used the Sony a7iv with the Samyang 35mm f2.8 while in Spain. Loved the combo. Will try this little lens in my new a7CR.
Really" love your shots, as if it speaks an unspoken words about how people live there. I'll be going there in march to fully explore and capture tokyo through my lens and your videos inspired me so much! Thankyou
I absolutely agree with @aykuthakkut - your video popped up and it filled me with joy and inspiration. The feel, mood and approach to the whole video was incredibly pleasing and made it a joy to watch and consume. As someone obsessed with Japan (but living in Denmark), this was incredibly fascinating and also gave me a lot of help in deciding whether to go for a zoom or a 35 for my next lens. May I ask - did you film this entire video with the 35 or was it just the photos? Thank you again - I will subscribe and enjoy the rest of your content!
Great video Adrien! I might check this area out, my first trip to Japan starts Dec 12th and I am beyond excited to practice the whole 3 weeks I will be all over Japan. Your videos are always great inspiration mate. What are your top 3 locations to shoot at that you can recommend? :)
Hi, I watched your latest videos with this combo and I loved it. I bough the same lens last week for my A7C and I am amazed with the incredible AF in photo and video (for the low price). The video with the 35mm on these clips are with manual focus, right? I hope to see more of this combo. ;)
Thanks for your comment and glad you like the lens :) Yes I use autofocus to acquire focus first and then toggle to manual focus before pressing record 👍🏻
How would you compare the 35mm to a 28mm? I allways been a 35mm user but purchased a GrIII this summer. I’m a much worse photographer with a 28mm in my hand I noticed. But I guess it takes practice to get used to it. My opinion is just that 35 is easier to handle.
Agree with you, 28mm is difficult (or just different?). The filed of view is substantially wider on 28 so it needs time to get used to. With practice it will come I am sure
lovely shots, this video makes me think that "gopro" can be use for street photography, just screenshot perfect moment its just an idea can works for me i guess.

Laying on my sofa seeing your relaxing videos. I love 35mm focal length. It’s just so cinematic and a really good compromise

Thanks a lot!
Great work man! My main street setup is the A7iii + Samyang 35mm 1.8 and even though my lens is slightly larger, it's a pretty pleasant kit to carry around on long days.
Yes I was considering that one too, it’s also light enough to not be a burden. Thanks for the nice words 😊
5:26 this is very nice composition!
Thanks!
So very nice!
in most cases which type of auto focus area did you used the most? thanks so much for this video 🙏💙
I use Zone a lot and sometimes just the medium size spot. I also use the back button focusing method by the way
Another wonderful video with great street photos. I used the Sony a7iv with the Samyang 35mm f2.8 while in Spain. Loved the combo. Will try this little lens in my new a7CR.
Must be so good on a small body like the a7CR 👍🏻
So good
Thanks for sharing

nice shots, and those little tips are very helpful :),, and if i may ask, comparing with zeiss 35mm f2.8, which one would you prefer?
great photos and nice content)
I shoot on R + 35 1.8, but it seems that I want an even more compact setup so that I can take it with me more often
30000 steps a day... that's insane man. But in a good way 😅
Awesome work as always 👏👏👏

Did you also use the A7 IV for the B-Roll shots? The color grading is so nice, I love it!
Yes I did

Yea 35mm is my favorite .. if I can only choose 1 lens..
agree ;)
I love you work Adrien. Thank you for sharing. If I may ask a question. What do you shoot your POV with? Thank You!
Thanks! I use the GoPro 11
9:18 is crying out for a wide angle lens 😍

the video has awesome colors... do you use Davinci or other tool to grade it?
I don’t know if you’ve covered this in your videos already but what camera do you use to record your POV shots?
Its the GoPro 11 👍🏻
lovely shots, this video makes me think that "gopro" can be use for street photography, just screenshot perfect moment its just an idea can works for me i guess.
It would not be a very good quality I think, nothing beats doing actual photography with a photography camera
Hey what camera did you use to record this video?
Hey, the sony a7iv
@@adriensanguinetti You took video and took photos all with same camera?
Were both the video and photos shot using the 35mm 2.8?
Yes ;)
love every single shot you take... and love also your presets, too bad I can't afford them :(
nice.. but your audio is too low I have to crank up the volume.
This si cinema
Yes photography means the same to me
35mm is the top
It is :)
2024 is your year
