Thank you Andy, glad you liked it. I can say it's a great lens and don't regret buying it. I will do another video soon talking about the 24-120mm and hopefully a comparison video soon. (I need to fix some of the audio issues first)
I use this lens on my Z7ii ...i had to sell all my Z f4.0 lenses and F mount 2.8 lenses because of my bad knees and just couldn't carry the weight any more but i'm more than happy with the 24-200mm
Hi and thank you for the video! I believe it's a great lens. I just ordered it together with the Nikon Z 5 camera. Can't wait to test them. It's my first time with a mirrorless camera, I was using DSLR till now. I hope I've made a good decision with this combo.
@@johnwphotography I will. Should arrive this week. Didn't had time to see your work more but I've subscribed to your channel and will do that in the future. Much health with respect!
@@johnwphotography Hi! So I just got the new Z5 and the lens and they are amazing, much better quality in images than my old D5600. I only managed to make few basic settings and take about 20 photos, I am so busy, 9 hours at the workplace and at home also had other stuff to take care of. But hopefully I will manage to proper test them this weekend.
@@radupetrupeticawell this is exciting. Glad you’re enjoying it so far. I know work can get in the way, I have the same issue. I can’t wait to see your photos. Feel free to share them with me on Instagram. I would love to see them! 📸 happy snapping!
@@johnwphotography Ok. I will look you up on Instagram. I am just disappointed because Instagram takes too much from the quality. Maybe there is a "trick" which I don't know about for images to be shown at better quality. It's such a pitty because the photos have amazing quality on my PC but when posted on Instagram or Facebook lose too much quality.
Might be a depth of field issue and not lens sharpness on some of these shots e.g.10:07. I don't think there's any reason to have a 24-70 + 70-200 setup anymore for landscapes, the versatility is a game changer. I guess the only question is if 200 is enough, but that would depend where you live and what you shoot.
I agree the versatility is a game change. I find on the Z5 it’s a bit too soft, where as I think the z7 and above handles it better. I’m finding the 24-1200 and 100-400mm lenses the best duo for landscapes. But it’s down to preferences, cost and weight I guess
This reaffirms the notion that skill can make the best out of any photography tool, and not just specs.
Thank you, completely agree. Need to know how to use your gear to get the most out of it.
Thanks. I was looking for reviews of this lens. You have some great shots with it. New subscriber here...

it is a Nikon Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 vr lens not 5.6
Thank you
Audio is not good. Barely audible.
I'm sorry you can't hear it. I will make sure to improve for the next one
Sounds good to me.
