Yeah, this brings back so many memories. It brings tears to my eyes too. After thousands of miles of just these kind of workouts, this is so familiar. The hill work is so important along with the speed work on the track and the intervals out on the street course. After about two years of running, you get to know your body so well, what it can do, when to push, when to wait for an injury to heal, etc. I have run in rain, snow, ice, head winds, tail winds, cross winds, over 100F heat, -70F windchill on Christmas Day, up mountains, along oceans, through English green fields, along steamy empty tarry country roads, almost hit twice by cars from behind, in large groups, small groups and all all alone but never really alone as long as the finish is still in front of me (the finish is your coach), across muddy fields and streams, dodging bikers (those bikers), fell several times stumbling over broken sidewalks, thrown up more often than I can count, worked dozens of races handing out water and helping people up so they keep on going and don't stop no matter what to the end. By far the best parts, after 35 years of running, were the 400M 70 second laps, followed by 300M, 200M, 100M, and then repeating it all over again. Blasting fast, feeling the wind, hearing the wind, hitting the turn at top speed and coming off the turn heading down the final stretch. There is nothing like it. You will remember it all the rest of your life. You will treasure it. You will have tears in your eyes too. Now, where did I put my running shoes?
WoW! Great workout. And I thought the 70-75 second 10x 400's was hard. Never thought about 1000's. Hills, I loved them. Your video workout reminded me of the "Dome" workout we did when stationed in Aviano, Italy. That was one hard incline that built character. Good luck to the four runners in their running carreers. I hope they achieve more than they ever thought possible.
Muito bom esse treino coach ,curto e assisto sempre além de correr a música e dos filmes de Bang Bang , faroeste.Posta mais vídeos com esses corredores parabéns treinador
Question: in all those running sessions i see in these video's they're clicking they're watches like 10-20 times a training. Do they stop their watch when they're resting in between? I don't really understand the purpose of analyzing a workout afterwards when you've stopped your watch so often, how does that work?
Stijn de Ruiter I think they’re just timing their splits. Seeing how long it takes them to get around the track each time so that they’re maintaining consistency.
"Go slow" *starts sprinting*
That's not sprinting bruh
They all looked like they were on a Sunday jog

bluenetmarketing how old are you sir/ma’am?Meaning you still don’t run like this⬆️
This is actually so beautifully written
400m 70 sec lap repeats, obviously you weren't a sprinter.
therottenrook damn imagine a sprinter who runs 70s for 400... couldn't be me
it’s so satisfying bc the girls are running in sync
Wish my coach said that “Don’t be fast” 😂😂
Don't be fast.
***ZOOOOOOM***
this trainer is so GREAT!! love it
Why am I watching this? I can't even run a mile.
Start with 0.25, work up to 0.50mi, work up to 0.75mi, then to 1.0mi lol. Should take you about a month even if you're a complete couch potato.
Or start by walking then speed waking then jogging then running
any woke else on a workout Wednesday binge

It could also be checking there heart beat
They split there watch after each rep to Time both the rep they just ran and rest that follows. Repeat. It’s common practice.
Your a really good runner guys

This would have been meat for me when I was in high school. That was almost 30 years ago.
I guess I was elite then.
Nobody cares.
irritablearchitect But you never made it. Guess not elite enough.
That shirtless guy doesn’t look athletic at all. Looks like an average dude.
You couldn't be more wrong. This man has the typical runner body.
John Berry Okay? Most runners that I’ve seen obviously don’t look like that.
Dumb workout.........who races 3 mins and then takes a break?
these girls does not need a bra at all..
save cost on bra purchase
Dont eat shit
Women who can run fascinate me. Normally they run like babes which looks ridicolous.
Alberto would call them fat.
