The 2 main ones are "Extended Pursuit indicator" for the lines on the map and "Better Planets and Backgrounds" for the prettier space pictures behind the ship.
There's a tiny non-optimal play Rand did: If you've got no weapons, and your weapons system is destroyed, it's better to *not* repair it. (See 21:16) This way if there's a fire or you get bordered in that room, you can't take damage.
enemies i think are more likely to target weapons in hard mode, so it can prevent a 2 damage missile from hitting your clone bay (instant loss of that happens when your crew are dying, and your crew are dying a lot with this ship)
I don't understand the question. Do you mean "Does Drone Recovery arm work on the Hacking drone?" If that's your question, then No, hacking drone is not recovered by drone recovery arm. Scrap recovery arm increases the amount of scrap you get from scrap rewards...which doesn't really affect hacking.
There's a mechanic in FTL hard mode called "smart targeting" where the enemy AI will have an altered chance to fire on certain systems based on different conditions. If your O2 is below 50%, the AI will have a slightly higher chance to shoot O2, which is often preferred over them targeting systems like weapons, teleporter, etc. I don't remember this specific run, but I'm guessing I was trying to reduce the chance that the enemy ship targeted clone bay or teleporter to keep my boarding crew safe.

Since they’re anaerobic, lanius should take damage from fully oxygenated rooms
