i run an es300h as well, i put 2 small headrest mounted food and drink holders on the back of each front seat, i keep them filled with water and chocolate candy, people love it, and it probably triples my tips... ive carried a small compressor type cooler up front in the summer to keep things cold
Awesome Lexus! I had a couple myself. I used to drive a massive 2008 Lexus LS460. It’s like driving a yacht it’s so comfortable! Then I got and still have my 2012 Lexus ISF. Wow what a beast of a car that is! V8 power. I briefly did Uber in it in 2017 and stopped cuz of gas consumption and plus I love my ISF. I felt doing it for Rideshare even for just a month was blasphemy. HAHA
Ive been thinking about it myself. I do regular lyft and make decent money, but if I could do Lux and black and cut my fuel in half, it would help a lot. Did you ever do regular lyft, with or without a hybrid?
Yes, I did regular lyft for a couple of months. Regular Lyft is more consistent with continuous rides. Lux is pretty consistent in high season. Lux black only works well when demand is very high.
@@ryanhablitzel All that being said, do you think it is worth it to get a black lux car? I was thinking of getting a hybrid anyhow. Also, what is "part time" to you? I've worked on the cusp of part time and full time, just shy of 30 hours and made about $930 this week. I did 8 hours yesterday and made an easy $300.
It depends on your desired outcome and location to know what is best. The regular Lyft will keep you busy with regular rides continuously. Guaranteed income. The Lux black will give you a few rides in certain markets with surges from time to time that pay well. You will have to be more strategic with Lux and Lux black. If you want a nice car and live in a good location where you can sit at home with the app on and take a rose or two from time to time, Lux and Lux black could work. If you want to stay busy and get to work, Lyft rides are best.
Thanks for this video. I'm looking to move to Houston TX as an Uber/Lyft Driver with a Lexus Es300h as well. I guess I'd subscribe for Lyft.. I just hope it's worth it in Houston TX
It’s hard to know. This car worked well and was quite profitable in Phoenix/Scottsdale. I recently moved to Tampa, FL and make significantly less here. In Tampa the Lexus qualifies for Uber Premier which is similar pricing to Lyft Black, but I make at least 4 times less in Tampa than I did in Phoenix.
What tire you initially got on them 18 rims ? And currently which one you purchased ? How long do they last you 🛞 I’m in the market for tires for 18 rim 235/45R18

Excellent car and review
Thank you!

I’m in the market for tires for 18 rim 235/45R18
The original continental tires lasted 25k miles. I replaced them with cheap Americas Tire Co tires and have had zero issues.
