    Amazing, informative and entertaining review. Well Done. The Lexus brand is amazing and this ES looks like a perfect match of luxury, performance and reliability. That Hannibal reference was soo funny btw.

    Thanks Jeff for an Excellent review and driving impressions. I thought I wanted this car, but I want the upgraded Toyota Venza in a few years.

    Great stuff Jeff. Love Lexus. I’m an LS man myself. This thing is a total cruiser. Great car!

    Got mine last month, love the 2023 Lexus ES 300h Ultra Luxury fully loaded. It's the Ultra Luxury trim, which is what we wanted and is the highest trim for the ES hybrid.
    It is the Cloudburst Gray exterior with Acorn color semi-aniline leather interior. Total Installed Packages & Accessories:
    1) Premium Triple-beam LED headlamps;
    2) Smartacess Card Key;
    3) Premium Paint;
    4) Lexus Interface with 12.3-in Multimedia Touchscreen Display;
    5) Ultra Luxury Package;
    6) All weather floor liners and trunk mat;
    7) Door edge film by 3M;
    8) The Preferred Accessory Package; and
    9) The Dealer added a 5-year windshield protection/replacement coverage package and tinted the driver and passenger windows.
    MORE:
    The three-projector headlamp design creates an eye-catching L shape. Adding to this brilliant design, the headlamps feature LED side turn signals, as well as an Adaptive Front Lighting System6 that uses steering and speed sensors to direct the angle of low-beam illumination as the vehicle enters a curve. The Adaptive Front Lighting System monitors steering and speed with a suite of sensors and will automatically adjust the angle of your low-beam headlights to improve visibility on curved roads.
    Ultra Luxury extras:
    1) 18-inch split-five-spoke alloy noise-reduction wheels and Michelin "green" tires;
    2) Power rear sunshade with manual rear-door sunshades;
    3) Power open/close trunk with kick sensor;
    4) 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen display 10.2-inch Head-Up Display; and
    5) Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking and Rear Pedestrian Detection, and Panoramic View Monitor.
    Averaging 43+ MPG City/Hwy driving and I had the oil and filter changed at 1,000 miles for my own peace of mind. Just For Reference: I was not going to wait one-year or 10,000 miles to have the factory installed oil & filter changed. And, I shall be changing the Oil (Liqui Moly 0W-16 Spec V) and Toyota filter every 5,000 miles from now on. Like Scotty Kilmer says, oil & filters are cheap, engines are expensive. LOL 😎

      Does it keep up well with traffic ?
      I’ve got a Honda econobox rn , it’s a 1.5 manual which puts out something like 120hp and weight about 1.2 tons .
      It keeps up with traffic kinda okay , does a 0-100 in about 10 secs
      I’m just a tad worried that the Lexus is gonna be quite slow compared to the 5 series 9 ish sec 0-100 vs 6 seconds on the Germans

      @@sravans149 Well, the ES300h is not a sports car, not even if it had the F Sport trim. If I wanted a sports car, I would have bought a Lexus LC500. LOL

    I saw the new RX interior and I believe Lexus has a hit. If they bring the new screen to all of their vehicles, Lexus will be successful for the upcoming generation.

    Jeff does the f-sport ride Lexus smooth or is it smooth for a sports handling suspension?

    Jeff, do you think having Heads Up Display and heated and ventilated front seats are worth having on the 2023 Toyota Venza Limited or are those options something you can live without? I am trying to justify paying 4 thousand dollars more for the Limited. Thanks

    • @AutoJeffReviews
      @AutoJeffReviews  Год назад

      I like the head up display more than I like the heated and cooled seats. I use it all the time and love it. Those are both features though. You have to ask yourself do I need them or would I really love them and is it worth the upgrade?

    I upgraded I traded my boring Lexus ES 300h in on the new 2023 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid. It puts the Lexus to shame. The technology is 10 years ahead of Lexus. So happy not to drive a boring Lexus anymore.

    Lexus really needs to step up their game. Interior looks outdated for a 2023, lots of cheap Toyota buttons you even have in the Aygo and the quality just does not feel premium enough for the price tag of like 70k
