    The more sedans that disappear from the market, the more I appreciate the ES.

    • @COMMANDERFOX31
      @COMMANDERFOX31 8 месяцев назад +48

      Sedans will never go anywhere. Yes, there have been more SUV purchases in the last decade but the popular sedans like the Camry, Corolla, Civic, ES/IS, Mazda 3, Elantra, etc. have all seen big sale numbers over the last few years because they are after all cheaper and more efficient. In this economy, not everyone wants a giant lifted vehicle that hogs 20mpg just to get to a local Walmart.

    I actually really appreciate the USB-C ports. For a car that is almost certainly going to be drive for the next decade by most owners, it's much more future-proofed than having a bunch of USB-A ports everywhere. If I just wanted a car to get from point A to point B comfortably and reliably with some luxuries over like, an accord, this would be my car. I love the ES and I've always also loved the exterior design. Quite a handsome vehicle IMO

It was a very forceful and almost ripped the wheel out of my hands. That was that...Turned it off and never thought about it again. Otherwise the car is fabulous.
    I use android auto and it is perfect. Soon as I start up my phone connects and goes to the screen.

    I did a 450 mile road trip in my 2023 ES 300h a couple days ago, it was fantastic, and I had almost a half tank of fuel left :O The mpg was slowly increasing the entire way, ending at a crazy 58mpg, going 68 miles an hour, with AC on, in normal driving mode. At first I thought the computer must have gotten it wrong, so I did the math myself and yep, 450 miles, just over half a tank does ball park 58mpg! The lane tracing is dependent on how good the lines on the road are, if the lines are good then it doesn't flinch, but if the lines are degraded then it can freak out occasionally.

      in Camry it also affects the air con and Active Glide Control, and engine braking, this is what I noticed during my road trips, So I use normal for city, econ for highway, I do not like sport, because it tries to rev engine with every tiny foot move on accelerator pedal and makes it louder ;)

      Yes, of course, it is autodim and it changes to night mode on its own, changes google maps from white daytime to darktheme/night map on its own as well, this happens whether you're using Apple CarPlay or AA, or using NOTHING, like the Lexus Stock Map Navi, AutoDim is very accurate.

    My wife and I just finished a 3800 mile trip in 8 days. Our 2019 averaged 41 mpg and rarely ( unless small towns dictated ) saw under 80mph. Greatest car ever owned. Got the hybrid because our 08 Prius has gone through me, and 2 college students with no more than fluid and tire changes after 337,000 miles. Still gets 36mpg and burns about a half qt of oil between 3,000 mile oil changes. Gave it to my brother who will rack it up to 500k in a couple years
