it's not much, but, I want to show my gratitude for spending the time with me and helping me to learn how to better our RUclips channel. Thank You for the shout out also. But, mostly, thank you for trusting us..complete strangers.. with you and your truck. Oh, and Thank you for putting up with Jeff! lol! I always say..I wonder what today will bring? Well..that day brought us to you and, hopefully, a life long friend. Thank You C Farmer... -THE Transport Bandits
Thank you Don, just doing what we could. and, we were in a position to help. We may be in the same predicament someday. We believe that what good you put forth in this world will come back to you 10 fold.
You have been very generious with your time and knowledge with me as I make my start, along with a lot of other folks. Difficult days waiting for things to get arranged, glad to see you able to get moving toward home and familiar ground. Just a week ago you were towing David home with your truck, unfortunately the tables are turned. Pretty cool Jeff and Cheryl are of a mindset and a position to help you out. The live stream was pretty awesome, but it didn't surprise me too much. What you put out there comes back. You guys are setting the tone.
Hey Charles. Your YT channel is one of the reasons I stopped watching cable TV. What you do and experience on a daily basis is actual REALITY, good or bad. I want to thank you for taking me along on your journey. There's good people here in this country and the help and support you have been receiving makes me proud to be American. I really feel that I have gotten to know you as a friend. Wishing you the best of luck and looking forward to following you on your travels. -Andy in Vermont.
C Farmer I hope you get home safely and everything works with your truck. I really have enjoyed watching your truck over the years and I think it’s a awesome rig. Thanks for the video.
Was in your shoes January to May last year. Still digging out of the hole but almost done. Lost revenue is the worst. I bought a new one and gonna go to about 200K and get another. Hoping fresh trucks can keep me rolling. Wish I could say o could tear down and engine but wore out on that kind of work a long time ago. I admire your diving into the mechanics work. Best of luck and hope to cross paths with you one day.
How about a video on how to handle the money while transporting RVs. Putting a certain amount into a savings solution might help the other drivers get on top of a financial issues. Sort of a Dave Ramsey following.
Cheryl and Jeff are such awesome people c farmer I follow you and Mr. Tennessee and them and others. When you stepped out of the truck it put tears in my eyes. Also when Jeff did, I love all of y’all’s videos very much.
I didn't get to join the live but finally got to watch it later. This crusty old man almost bawled like a baby. Renewed my faith in humanity a little bit
Good things come to good people Farmer. I’m sure it will all work out in the end. Also, I’m curious about the driveline on your truck. I assume it was too long to fit in your bed with the fuel tank? Another guy I know says you’re better off just strapping it up under the truck after you unhook it from the differential for towing. Just curious how you did it. Take care.
You are a good man. I have never had the pleasure of meeting you but I feel like I know you. I wish you all the best and hope all goes smoothly with the repairs. BTW my passenger mirror is still working perfectly thanks to you.
Sorry I did not get to be on the live. I am glad to see and hear that you are ok sir!! That is the most important. Sorry to hear about your truck. Things happen for a reason, and someone thise things we don't know why. Glad your safe tho. Safe traveling sir. Always look forward seeing your videos. Your friend from south east Kansas!
Hey bud, I just seen about all this last night getting ready for work. It's been hectic with me working a full-time job and damn near full-time at my second job. Sorry I missed the live.
Hope you get home soon there, buddy. Glad you got an assist from the Bandits. Looking forward to hearing the details about your truck. Stay safe🙂 EDIT: I may have missed it, but what were your symptoms? Low/no oil pressure? I heard you say it spiked to 4000 rpm during engine braking, which I've done with mine more than a few times (maybe I shouldn't, lol). Really curious to know more when you get some free time.
Glad to hear the flat towing is going well. I know you’re gonna be busy, keep us posted when you have a chance…I’ll be watching all your other videos (again) until then. Safe Travels
Hope everything goes well, I thought for sure you would drop the engine out and be overhauling it in the back of the truck bed while the Bandits' drive you home.
According to GM, they can safely rev to 4800 rpm when engine braking, but only to 3450 rpm while fueling. I still get the willies when it revs into the stratosphere while I'm on some steep grade with a heavy trailer. But that's what it wants to do.
Mine did really good around 2500rpm. Held back really good and didn't make me nervous.i think it was just the miles on the truck and me letting it do something it wasn't used to doing.... mabe
Good luck with ur truck brother I hope you can get it back on the road can’t wait to see u reaching 1million miles maybe chevy give u a new one for free !!! Lol

Well said! I agree.
Shared on Facebook! Hope this helps!
We are praying that you are not down for long.
Whether it's a Chevy, Ford or Dodge, they all have their issues and all of them can have a major mechanical failure.
I 100% agree with you😊
So sad seeing your truck being pulled... praying that you're back up and running asap...
You are an inspiration and look forward to your upcoming episodes. Take Care!!!!!
C Farmer I hope you get home safely and everything works with your truck. I really have enjoyed watching your truck over the years and I think it’s a awesome rig. Thanks for the video.

I’m afraid to see what ahead in the future for your truck. I love ur videos man keep ur head up 😊
Yea, me and truck both getting some age on us
@@CFarmer ay age don’t mean anything 💪
I'm getting old but I'm pretty stubborn, lol
@@CFarmer I’m the same way brother 😂
You are a good man. I have never had the pleasure of meeting you but I feel like I know you. I wish you all the best and hope all goes smoothly with the repairs.
BTW my passenger mirror is still working perfectly thanks to you.
GM needs to take your engine and tear it apart after 500k and give you a new one. Other manufacturers have done it.
Especially he doing extreme duty towing big trailers half the miles, idling at night also.

Keep us posted on what it was that went out. I'm a mechanic by trade and a truck driver by choice.
Thank you, I'll do my best
@@CFarmer thank you for the reply.
I hope everything goes smooth and you end up enjoying working on your truck… Once you’re in the mood for it…
Bad time to be outside, showing rain Friday though the next Friday.
Yea, hopefully it'll clear up by time I'm ready to tear in

Oil sump tube fell off C.
Aren't there supposed to be electronic safeguards to keep ut from shifting into a gear and over revving?
According to GM, they can safely rev to 4800 rpm when engine braking, but only to 3450 rpm while fueling. I still get the willies when it revs into the stratosphere while I'm on some steep grade with a heavy trailer. But that's what it wants to do.

Thank you! I doubt it but we'll see
Can we reach out to Gale Banks to see if he would sponsor a new engine for you ( with some of his products)?
Thanks!
