    You have been very generious with your time and knowledge with me as I make my start, along with a lot of other folks. Difficult days waiting for things to get arranged, glad to see you able to get moving toward home and familiar ground.
    Just a week ago you were towing David home with your truck, unfortunately the tables are turned. Pretty cool Jeff and Cheryl are of a mindset and a position to help you out. The live stream was pretty awesome, but it didn't surprise me too much. What you put out there comes back. You guys are setting the tone.

    Hey Charles. Your YT channel is one of the reasons I stopped watching cable TV. What you do and experience on a daily basis is actual REALITY, good or bad. I want to thank you for taking me along on your journey. There's good people here in this country and the help and support you have been receiving makes me proud to be American. I really feel that I have gotten to know you as a friend. Wishing you the best of luck and looking forward to following you on your travels. -Andy in Vermont.

    Was in your shoes January to May last year. Still digging out of the hole but almost done. Lost revenue is the worst. I bought a new one and gonna go to about 200K and get another. Hoping fresh trucks can keep me rolling. Wish I could say o could tear down and engine but wore out on that kind of work a long time ago. I admire your diving into the mechanics work. Best of luck and hope to cross paths with you one day.

    How about a video on how to handle the money while transporting RVs. Putting a certain amount into a savings solution might help the other drivers get on top of a financial issues. Sort of a Dave Ramsey following.

    Good things come to good people Farmer. I’m sure it will all work out in the end. Also, I’m curious about the driveline on your truck. I assume it was too long to fit in your bed with the fuel tank? Another guy I know says you’re better off just strapping it up under the truck after you unhook it from the differential for towing. Just curious how you did it. Take care.

    Hope you get home soon there, buddy. Glad you got an assist from the Bandits. Looking forward to hearing the details about your truck. Stay safe🙂
    EDIT: I may have missed it, but what were your symptoms? Low/no oil pressure? I heard you say it spiked to 4000 rpm during engine braking, which I've done with mine more than a few times (maybe I shouldn't, lol). Really curious to know more when you get some free time.

    Aren't there supposed to be electronic safeguards to keep ut from shifting into a gear and over revving?

    • @johnsmith-dx1rf
      @johnsmith-dx1rf Год назад +3

      According to GM, they can safely rev to 4800 rpm when engine braking, but only to 3450 rpm while fueling. I still get the willies when it revs into the stratosphere while I'm on some steep grade with a heavy trailer. But that's what it wants to do.

    • @CFarmer
      @CFarmer  Год назад +1

      Mine did really good around 2500rpm. Held back really good and didn't make me nervous.i think it was just the miles on the truck and me letting it do something it wasn't used to doing.... mabe
