Youll easily be able to go 2-3 times as long between filter cleaning/changing!...because it's only going to catch about %50 of what your stock paper filter caught. And if you over-oil the filter when you clean it, which is very easy to do, youll coat you intake sensors in oil and itll start running crappy. Love your videos, but if you do any driving is dusty conditions id get that put back to the stock setup. If your skeptical of me and several others with this warning, drive it the way you have it for 10-15 thousand miles, take the filter and tube off and see how much dust is coating the inside of the tube. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have so many different sized oil filter wrenches but can never find them when I need them. It works so good. Actually, better in tight spaces than the wrenches.

For those saying they would buy the Banks cold air intake tnstead: I have a '17 6.7 Cummins in a 3500 dually. I also have their Monster Ram intake w/ boost tubes. I was headed to Reno with a trailer and the truck was starting to run rough at times and then smooth out. I couldn't figure it out and nobody could get it in without a 2 week appointment. By the time I was on my way back coming into Omaha it was running like crap. It was well below zero so I couldn't work on it outside. I was able to find a diesel shop on the west side of Omaha that agreed to look at it If it didn't take too long. Within an hour they found that the maf sensor wiring was against the oil filter mount and rubbed through and was grounding out. There was no way you could clock the tube so the sensor was away from the oil filter. I had to run heavy cable ties around the tube to hold the wiring away from the mount. If Banks had designed the tube to where the sensor was away from the mount I wouldn't have had the issue. It seems like an easy design fix on their part but no one thought to change it. All I'm saying is I like my Banks products but they're not perfect. I do notice a marked mpg improvement. I can get about 20-23 mpg on the highway running empty. Im not deleted because of testing in my county. Ram has agreed to a 48k mile emission warranty if you do the reflash update. So I may delay getting it done just to move back the warranty end. I'm not pulling trailers anymore but Farmer was by far my favorite RUclipsr on rv transport. Such a humble, no bs kind of guy.

You saved me $175. My fob was continuously ghost locking and unlocking the doors. Key shop wanted $190 for a new programmed fob. I bought the Amazon unprogrammed one, used your video to swap circuit boards, and it works great! Thank you!

What oil you been using?

My low coolant message started to show its ugly head on my last trip, so the first place I went was to you. I plan to change out my coolant because I have 70K miles on my 2018 2500HD. It was the coolant tank procedure that concerned me. I'll be using a OEMTOOL refill kit to replace the coolant, it's a slick tool. Thanks Farmer, you the man!

Next engine Run T6 or whatever Synthetic motor oil. It is SIGNIFICANTLY better than organic oil. You'll see the 1 Million Miles you want, with ease

His DPF lasts mostly because he runs the road at speed constantly which allows full Regeneration cycles. Plus under load so he's got plenty temperature burning of what can be, all throughout the engine. Idling and especially constant short trips are DPF killers.

Help? After I replaced the connector and injector on number 5 the cluster cleared but came right back up. Do you know what this could mean.?

I put a cold air intake on my 2022 Cummins and every time I ran out west in the higher elevations the truck would throw a engine light. So I had to put the stock intake back on 🤷‍♂️.

I bought one of these for my 2020 1500 and never got around to installing it. I now have a 2204 2500 HD and need to see about getting one for that...and find someone who would like to buy the one for the 1500 (the box has not even been opened)

If its an oil type filter i wouldnt run one of them. I had a k&n and you could see day light thru lots of the filter. Dust inside intake tube. I stick with stock paper filters. Clean.

currently running some similar ones on my EV. I was a little bit worried coz i raised the pressure a bit to get better range but this video reassured me. they were not new when i got the ev a year ago and i proceeded to put 30k miles on my ev and the tread is still knee deep. crazy. feel like these are the answer to everyone complaining about EV's and tire wear. theyre like the iridiums of tires. expensive, meh performance, but last forever. might stuff some ceramic wool blanket in my front wheel arches, crank the music and forget about them

Great vid! I've used LasFit for a number of my lights on the interior of my e34 BMW. For my truck, I have aftermarket Morimotos for head lights and LEDs already on the interior so I didn't need them there. Great to see the results and the cut-off line looks great. Oh, and BTDeisel Autosync is the best for doing mods with lighting and many other items!

Mine for my F250 are waiting on me when I get home tomorrow. I have one out so it's time to just replace them all because on the F-250 you have to pull the grill to replace the headlights so I'm not fixing to do that more than once.
