C Farmer to the rescue. Can't say thank you enough times for coming out of your way to help me, it is greatly appreciated. It was bitter sweet being the subject of your video. Lol. I'll be sending you the replacement connector shortly. Safe travels my friend, I hope I'm one of the first people you call if you ever need anything, I owe you big time.
Yes sir, glad i could help. Hope you and truck both doing good!
We are other than my reductant tank giving me issues occasionally. I'll get a message saying poor def quality or bad def quality sensor. It'll go away after 30 minutes or so and come back on every 2-3 weeks. Two dealerships have told me that it's a glitch in the system but still makes me nervous when it comes on because it's always when I have a camper and I'm 1000 miles from home. Also, it's something that can only be cleared by a GM scan tool, Altel, Snap On, etc., can not clear it. I've been meaning to call you with some pretty good news/info about our trucks. I'll try and call you in the next day or so. Hope all is well with you. Thanks.
I have replaced 5 on my truck. It then went in the shop for some repairs and when it was in there I just replaced them all for good measure. Like you I got to the point where I could do it in the side of the road in less than an hour.
I like the way you explain things. Good job.
FYI
The cambria hotel over there is really nice, used to stay there when I hauled cars.
Thanks for the video
Good morning sir!! Thank you for helping that feller out!! Safe travels!!
I had that issue while on vacation and had to drive my 2017 L5P 400 miles in what some call limp mode. Now, I carry one of them plugs at all times. Thanks CFarmer you saved me time and money, and I'm better prepared when I travel. I also carry an extra fuel filter at all times.
And you are definitely super Duramax trucker of the year I’m waiting for Amazon to deliver my two pigtails. I ordered them when you posted that other video and they’re still on back order.
You're a great man sir! It's a pleasure to watch your videos.
That's becoming your specialty, or as my grandbabies say, your superpower. If practice makes perfect, you are getting close to perfection, right? Stay safe out there, and I hope you get some dressing next week.
Good to see you out on the road again. Nice video
Great job, going though your part of Tn in the morning. Heading to Chattanooga.
Great Job. You have an awesome day.
These videos are awesome man, keep doing your thing. Awesome to see these trucks get used how theyre supposed to!!!!
Good job, safe travels
I enjoy your video's.
Same issue mine is on cylinder #3 where do you buy the plug/connector?
What OBD do you keep with your rig to do the diagnostic to determine the cylinder # ?
Charles what Altell scan tool do you use? Also can you change tire size or program a New tire size into the ECM? VERY INFORMATIVE AND THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION.
I was just curious had the exact same issue on a friends truck. I replaced the injector and the connector which cleared the limp mode but still has P0206. I checked the wire as well. Have you ever seen a bad ecm for this code? I’m about to send it out since it’s my last option. Thanks
I wonder if a preemptive strike of putting dielectric grease in all those plugs would help them last longer? I keep a pigtail in my 18 and the tools needed also...thank to your videos!
I would think some grease along the sides of the plugs to prevent water penetration but for the connections themselves a product like stabilant 22a would actually improve the connection between male and female connector.

Do you recommend using die electric grease on those connectors?
If you were to use dielectric grease, you’d only use it on the outside to seal out any water but that doesn’t look to be an issue. Dielectric grease is actually non-conductive so I wouldn’t use it on the physical connection points.
Yea Iv heard grease isn’t the right solution for stuff like this. A product like stabilant 22a would help with these problems. Maybe save having to change out the connector.
Grease on the outside plastic edges to reduce water penetration and further corrosion might work well with the stabilant used on physical connections
Which model autel do you have ??
Is the MK-808BT
Why you bundled up robby
What are you doing up on 80? Lost? 😂
Bad design. , need a better connection from the factory
Getting dirty and burnt black no good
