I’m not much of a mechanic, but thanks to you and your videos I’m learning tons, gaining confidence, and doing more of my own work. Thank you for taking the time to document and share your experience!

I had to change mine on my 2017 l5p at 125k miles. Ive used Timken on my 2006 lbz and did the same on my 2017. Always had good luck with Timkin. I now have 240k mi!es and they're still going strong. Great video, C Farmer. Always look forward to your thorough videos.

You are amazing. I’ve changed wheel bearing myself but it’s nice to see you doing a video showing people the right way to do the bearing change.
However, I’m always amazed at the durability of the GMC truck. I’m had two GM trucks. A 2009 GMC 1500 5.3 and it was disappointing because of the lifter problems and GM dealer screwed me. They couldn’t hear the tick at all. I heard it after my first trip 250 miles to Toronto.
Now I have a 2021 Chevy LT 3.0 Duramax. I’ve heard all the criticisms of the 3.0 but so far, I’ve had no real issues with 80,000km or 50,000 miles. I love my truck and its fuel mileage. I also enjoy all your videos. It amazing the trips across the USA you have made pulling giant trailers of ridiculous weights. You are a very professional driver. I just want to say that first and for most. It’s safety first. You fix your truck before there is a problem. It’s great to see someone like you. I thought I was the only one that repaired things before they become an issue.
I pull a 23 ft. Travel trailer and the truck handles it amazing. I’ve been across Canada to my daughters in Northern BC. and I love the trips through the USA and Canada. My wife, not so much! Hahaha. So she flights and I drive. This allows me to spend extra time with my 7 grandkids and visit a few friends in the area.
Keep on trucking Chris. Maybe I’ll cross your path on day.
    All the best!

    Great work!
It's always two steps forward and one step back as a fix reveals more to pay attention to.
Either way, you're still one step ahead.
Thanks for the video and your procedure, well done! :)

I know you have to do what you have to do but I cringe using parts from O'Reilly Auto they just don't last. Thanks for sharing love, watching

Hi Robby, have you thought about NAPA Auto parts? For me it seams they carry a line of heavy duty parts. It was the only auto parts store that carried ceramic brake pads for my F350 along with extreme duty rotors.
Always enjoy seeing your vids. Ready to run a load with you again.

If you want to put the best hub bearing in your truck get a Kryptonite unit. They are overbuilt and they last.

Did you determine that it’s time to do the bearing in that from differential?

Did you look at Rockauto or did you need the part now? Maybe go ahead and order for the other side. Good work on the video!

what about MOOG brand ? I've always had good luck with them on the 1500's, but i havent had to replace the ones on my Duramax yet. It has 119,000 miles.

I could be wrong but I thought when you “drive” a vehicle on jacks stands when you want to stop you put it in neutral and if you hit the brakes it’s bad for the transmission. I could be wrong great video regardless.👍
