Nicely explained I wish my collage instructor was as clear at explaining thing as you guys are. Keep up the good work.
Good explanation. Don't forget there is another way of doing it if your permanent line and switched line are at the same switch. You'll need to run three strappers to each of the remaining switches and use connector blocks for the common strapper, or in this case where using singles you would run one between the first and last switch, and two between each of the switches in between. The method in the video only works if you have your permanent line at the first switch and switched line at the last switch.
Wow couldn't believe how simple that was 👍thanks
Fantastic video, keep them coming so helpful!
Very clear, brilliant lecture!
Thanks for sharing it with us
Brilliant explanation really like it.
Very understanding 😊 thank you
Thanks for the great comment 👍
Perfect Gaz. I was drawing this out to one of my apprentices this morning. I'll send him a link to the video!
Hi Dan. What a stroke of luck... Gaz 👍
@@GSHElectrical Hi you are a brilliant teacher 100% to you for explaining beginners like myself who's in college on level 2 .Our teacher never explained nothing like you Keep posting thanks a million
Best explanation 🔥🔥
Thanks 👍🏻
Brilliant video, Thank you
Thanks for watching 👍
finally a decent explanation
Very helpful. Very easy to understand 👌👍
Thanks 👍🥂
wow!
very nice explanation........may almighty God bless you and your family
Thanks for the lovely words Gaz
It would be great if you could do short video showing what the switches are actually doing when they are pressed. I can remember constructing a model (complete with moving parts) showing my apprentice what actually happens inside the switch when a 1-way, 2-way or intermediate switch is pressed. He found the model of the intermediate switch in particular, extremely beneficial.
Hi. Thanks for the comment. I am currently working in an SWA video I will add your request to my list. Thanks as always for the support Gaz
Very nice video very clear explenation
Thanks for the support GSH Electrical
This is nice 👍 work
👍🏻
Hi Gary, looking at that intermediate switch I think I’d remember the correct way to place the strappers ,looking at this particular make of intermediate switch they look like arrows arrows showing the way < > . Not sure if it’s the same for other brands.
Regards steve.
Gaz can you do a video taking feed to switch and neutral at every point please, as am2 want
So line going to the common of first switch and common of 3 switch to light
I do have similar problem with the intermediate switch connection
Hi Gaz so in the am2s now you would wire the neutral the same as the CPC leaving a connection at each switch before only having one cable at the night?

If they want the 2 plate method take the feed to the switch - it will probably be switched 2 way and intermediate (video coming soon)
In the AM2 it asks for the neutral to be at every switch, can you confirm that this is true?
I have my AM2 today at 8am, yes this is true!
Can you do a video or a wiring diagram of bringing the feed to the switch instead of going to the rose as on the am2E we have to bring feed to the switch

Would be great if you could use wiring diagram for this with colour pen
Any chance of doing one video?

Hi where is switch live?
Switch live was the cable going from common of the second 2 way switch up to the light
Why is it that you used a brown wire only
