That’s a really nice car and it’s nice to have this tips. I’m not a Nissan 300.zx owner yet but at least I know that I can watch your videos for information now and in the future, good luck and drive safe👍
Great information, Billy. When I owned mine, it was the year 2000. As a young adult, I was clueless and there was no information out there. Younger people do not understand how much of a gift RUclips is to automotive DIY.

@@dannoyes4493 I've had this simmering in the back of my mind for a while now actually.. As for the accusump. It's just one more thing, ya know? One day I'd like to get one setup in the car. But for the $(I know, it could save me a lot more $$ in the long run but..) and the added complexity into the vehicle. I don't feel ready for one just yet.
Yeah, I’ve got a 600 hp fully built 300ZX TwinTurbo and a 6 puck clutch, you don’t ever wanna have if you’re sitting in any kind of traffic or stop and go it just destroys it. I will definitely go with a twin disk next time.
I’m almost done getting all the parts I need for my 95 tt I think I have spent about 5 or 6 gs on parts now but I’m excited to have my own tt Nissan my dream car
Can you please explain new billet compressor wheel tech more? I have greddy td05 16g setup. Can new wheels be swapped into old housings or better just to buy new turbos?
I have all the pieces except for one hose. But I'd like to build a custom bracket with an aftermarket/newer compressor with custom lines. Something a little bit more efficient and up-to-date rather than the old worn out stuff that's hard to find.
So I'm planning on getting a 300 and my main focus is grand touring/canyon runs. What power range would you consider this car would need? I was thinking 600-500 hp but it could be less or more I'm not sure. I love time attack and track oriented driving and I know this car isn't the best at that but I love the 300. I owned one years ago and regret selling it. Any advise helps. Keep up the great work Billy!
@@b0bbydigital14 450-600hp is really the perfect number for a solid, streetable 300zx IMO. Especially with the turbo technology out there today.. but if your looking to do some time attack and canyon runs I'd definitely stick closer to 500whp setup, you don't necessarily need the extra although with a proper setup there's no reason you can't have that additional 100hp on tap.
depends on what clutch you have, if you have full face organic aka oem style clutch, should be like stock, but most 500hp clutches are un sprung clutches which are much less forgiving in the pedal feel.
@@ghostsmoke11 extremely with the correct parts. As started above, try to get a full face clutch with a little more bite for a smooth clutch engagement. I know CZP sells McLeod (I'm clearly biased to this company after owning one myself) single disc clutches rated for 600+.

@@Zi.Zenior if you're making enough power to need a RXT, RIP mt82.. 😅
@@Billy_Built most of the MT82 lockout issues are due to insufficient pressure plate strenth. The RXt is a common fix at all power levels.
