This has got to stop. It is clear to me that a couple dozen good auditors in a nation of over 300 million is not enough to affect change. Every citizen that cares about our constituional rights needs to pull out their cell phone and record in public places (hell, you could just hold up your phone and pretend to be recording). Police encounters and litigation is not the answer because rarely are these violators held accountable. If the people exercise their rights in mass, there's absolutely no way public servants would be able to continue this tyranny.

Video footage from citizens exposes impropriety. How many people watch 1A audits to see how great our public servants are? There was a time when no government buildings had any surveillance cameras anywhere. Do you think when they first started installing cameras to monitor their employees, everyone said, "Great, my every move will be watched by Big Brother?" So, no employee is ever going to like being watched, but now it is accepted. Eventually this will be the same case for being filmed in public. Management of both police officers and postal employees should be publicly, embarrassed by now, or removed from their jobs for failing these employees. All over the country these kinds of audits have caused countless lawsuits, embarrassment of their workers, and abundance of phone calls from viewers. How could the management not know that???? And why haven’t they trained their employees?

One thing I like about you TT is how articulate you are , and how you speak to the cops with assertive confidence...and your vocabulary and the way you manage your words gives you instant credibility with them....and forms a favorable acclimation in how the officers respond to you, they see you as intelligent, informed, and self-assured. That works in your favor.
It's part of the equation. Your well versed delivery , toned communication skills and word economy makes it easier for the police and anyone, really, to quickly asertain and understand the situation. As a viewer and former auditor myself, it is appreciated and admired. Auditors who stumble and come off a little antagonistic can unnecessarily alienate the police which could interfere with the audit's purpose. Studder and brainscattered speaking (as some do) can detract from police's otherwise energetic support for said auditors's argumentations when it comes to 1st amanedment rights...Your demeanor makes it effortless for them to start off smooth and fluid.
    thanks, much appreciated.

I think the auditor should give the black postal worker some grace because he was caught off guard being filmed, and we ALL know that's the reaction that an auditor will receive, and he wanted to learn more and chop it up outside and I think that was his way of apologizing without saying it, so chop it up with the brother and don't hold it against him. I "think" it was the white guy who called the cops anyway.

that officer was saying they could trespass you if the post office wanted. He needs to be educated. At the end he was saying you have a right to record but I think he still believes if they want you out they can trespass you. Even the Lieutenant was saying the post office said you could stay. He may even think they can trespass you. It doesn't matter if the post office says you can stay or not. They don't grant you freedom. I think all those officers still believe they could trespass you if the Post office wants it.
