Personally, I think he gets far more information, esp by the higher-ups, when he does step outside. If he remained inside, he's more likely to be arrested and viewers wouldn't have the benefit of hearing what the higher-ups have to say.... And would miss the opportunity for them to be educated. Getting arrested is not the goal. Educating these officials is the point.

I think cops should be required to go to law school with a minor in sociology and a constant psychological evaluation annually. Invest in your career with educational requirements and minimal standards, especially with ones that carry a high probability of killing someone and enforcing the law.

That Sargent is a piece of work for a lack of a better word. He should NOT be in any type of law either, let alone a supervisor. He's a disgusting tyrant, and needs to be held accountable for the unprofessional manner in which he conducted himself. And the karen needs to be fired for being completely ignorant. Most cops are SLOW ON THE UPTAKE when it comes to LEARNING SOMETHING, getting BETTER at their jobs, IMPROVING HOW THEY DO THINGS to BETTER serve themselves AND the public. It's a stubbornness, ego, arrogance, control, tyrant thing with cops...THEY are their own worst enemies, and bad cops are any good cop's WORST nightmare. All good cops can thank a bad cop for all of the hate they are also racking up against THEM because of every bad cop's unprofessional, power-tripping, abusive, bullying, often illegal behavior and attitude. Good cops, you NEED TO REPORT ALL ABUSES of the law, authority/position or peoples' rights EVERY TIME you witness it happen. Lieutenants, Captains and Internal Affairs Investigators need to be made aware of what you saw that was NOT right, that was UNnecessary, that shouldn't have been pushed or escalated and didn't warrant arresting someone or detaining them in cuffs, in a patrol car, or forcing someone to ID when there WAS NO legal reason fot it (no ras, no suspected crime).
They know they just don't care that's why they are tyrants there crooked corrupted cops , it's a simple question what's your name , and they always don't give it they always say right there
When cops resort to shaming people for doing a constitutionally protected act , it shows how much disdain he has for the public , and the constitutional rights of the people. I think you do a great job with your audits , your very well spoken and clearly know your rights. I do have to say you should have gone inside at the end to show they did not run you off. This "personal information" line really gets me. A list by state of every voters' name, address, which elections they've participated in and primary party ballot is available for anyone, including foreign entities. Hell, in the early 90s my county was the first county to scan and post every document used by someone to purchase a property/home. This includes the countless pages of documents requiring a home purchaser's signature and SS# used by a bank to generate and secure a mortgage for a property. I had my identity stolen and it was determined the county's property deeds website was used to obtain ALL of my information, including my DL #, SS#, monthly mortgage amount and through which bank, and a copy of my personal check used for the down payment. While "protecting one's 'private' info" from being filmed may sound nice in theory, it's my own county govt that allows anyone with internet access to see it.

@@Dreamonology, I always find it interesting that someone with a phone or computer to get online with (because they posted a comment or question on RUclips like Taylor Harmon did) can be told that something exists or is real or is correct or it happened or it's history or it's a Supreme Court ruling, etc. , but they won't USE their phone or computer online to do a search online for themselves to learn and sharpen and keep their internet research skills up to par. And yes, in every state anyone can request (in some states) or access online (in others) all voters' names and addresses, what party they are registered under (or independent), the last primary they voted in, the last time they actively voted and so on. And guess what? Citizen members of the regular ol' public can REQUEST and RECEIVE a LOT, a TON, a HUGE AMOUNT of all kinds of information from city, county, state AND federal government agencies, divisions, departments, offices, bureaus, commissions, law enforcement, courts, etc. any time they want to...INCLUDING the names, titles, salaries, employment records, disciplinary actions, complaints and so on for INDIVIDUAL government public servants. And if they don't like it, they are working in the WRONG jobs...THEY work for US because WE pay them and for what their (OUR) part of government they work in DOES. Looking into state information request laws by state and also FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) federal law which COVERS all 50 states is GOOD INFORMATION to know and be able to recite to a government goon who is on a power trip OR is woefully ignorant of such laws/legal rights.

The best answer I've found from auditors is 'So you are admitting to having private information in public view. Can I have your name and a complaint form.'

Most of these DMV people are so ignorant. They fail to realize is that their job to create the privacy for people's personal information. As a journalist you can record anything you can see from the public.
They are officially a part of the ruling class and have every right to treat anyone not associated with the Cabal, like peasants. It was written into the constitution a few years ago in a backroom of the Supreme Court under a cloak and dagger operation around midnight.
I don't necessarily blame the DMV employees. They are only doing what they've been told by LEOs and/or their bosses. Most people aren't going to have a showdown with their boss over a disagreement like this. It's law enforcement that has failed these DMV employees, imho.

@@californialiving4907 yes but they had no jurisdiction in the facility just like most people don't know but the state, and city police and county sheriff departments actually have no jurisdiction on postal service properties because it is federal property it is supposed to be policed by homeland security, or the FBI mainly the former.

Police can ONLY enforce LAWS, lawfully...anything ELSE they do is UN-lawful and if they DO IT...then THEY are breaking the law and it probably won't go well for THEM later, whether they think they'll be okay or not. See how it works, how simple, common sense and logical it is? It's crazy how they always talk about personal information when they wearing body cams, plus the DMV itself has many cameras in there that you can request the footage from using a foil request. That cop definitely got educated on the phone and changed his position just as you said. Both of them was uneducated. The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals was the last circuit court to rule that citizens have to right to record their public officials in the course of their duties. That was in July of 2022. They ruled that based on Supreme Court rulings that the citizens have the right to record their public officials in the course of their duties. These public officials need a lawsuit to teach them the actual limits of their duties.

What that officer doesn't understand is once they rent a facility for a state business. It simply becomes public accessible arias especially in the waiting area of the facility, plus all commonareas. You just simply need to ask him what hes gonna do when you enter. That's as simple as that. Then it should light a fire underneath him to actually do something or have someone to show up.

To put the SGT. mind at ease, simply tell him that if he gets a complaint that you are video taping someone's private information that you'd be willing to show him your video footage that will clearly show that whatever that complaint is about your camera will show otherwise!

When they ask you to step outside, it's because they are trying to prevent you from coming back in. That being said, you're calm demeanor and knowledge of the law will ensure this channel will be successful. Not everyone possesses this skill. If you continue on this path, I would imagine you will start being promoted by other auditors as well.
The security officer gave you an opportunity to inform him that because he is infringing on your Constitutional rights that you can have his badge, his pension and he will never be able to work as a law officer / security guard. obviously there's room for improvement for everybody, like I see people Make suggestions in the comments like "Don't leave until law enforcement leaves, that way it doesn't give the appearance that you were chased out of there"
or "Don't go outside when they ask to speak to you outside"
these are things to learn from, but that doesn't mean that you're any less good than any other auditor. in fact, I think you're better than most auditors for one specific reason: the follow-ups.
an example, amagansett press: great auditor, but hes all bark, zero bite.
hes had his rights not only infringed on, but blatantly violated and he screams "I'm gonna sue, im gonna get you fired, ect" yet hes only ever filed 2 lawsuits in his 4 years and 400 videos of doing this.
you on the otherhand, you say youre going to do something, you freaking do it.
and you SHOW US, you make follow up videos. that makes you one of the greatest auditors on this platform!
so please, continue to take constructive criticism as just that and continue to grow and keep getting better and dont forget that just because youre new and have a few more things to improve on, it doesnt mean you arent already the best of all these auditors.
