- 2 for 1 today..I first went to the post office to exercise my right to record in public,and AGGIE and company,didn’t approve of it,so they called the cops. And then I went back to the Woodstock police department to get an update on our complaint we filed on the same Sgt I encountered at this post office. • First Amendment Audit.... 👈link to that original video

I feel like I am getting stupider watching a cop standing in front of a big red sign that says no guns, while he argues about punctuation, and tries to violate your rights.

*Note: the section in Poster 7 concerning "Photography for News", it covers three "Subject Areas" (SA#) and two "Conditions" (C#) ;*

_(C1) - entrances, lobbies, foyers, corridors, or auditoriums when used for public meetings_

I like how you gently tried to educate the brunette 'supervisor' and the second officer that simply recording someone's private information is not illegal; it's only a problem if you use it for fraud. Naturally they don't get it. When they take the time to read poster 7 and still try to argue, refer them to the DHS Memo that clarifies the CFR. I think that's what the Sgt's were told and why they didn't violate your rights.
Hope you are able to gather several incidents in this town, and then proceed to litigate. It's a long road, wishing you all the best.
